Dynamic Lighting

     It's incredible how the proper lighting can set the mood of any situation. That is why I thought it was necessary to see if anyone else felt the same way I do about the dull, flat lighting of each private room. I have  few suggestions on different lighting and filter options maybe people could select for a room that will make the experience seem more realistic, and for people who like to role play different scenarios.


LIGHTING OPTIONS

• 1. Candle light - darker room, flickering warm light on the walls and bodies. Also could work for fireplace lighting to create possible shadowing.
• 2. Moonlight - blueish hue for the room, again, possible shadowing
• 3. Party Lighting - This could be fun with ultraviolet lighting, possible strobe light or maybe just different color lights alternating (red, blue, green, etc)

FILTER OPTIONS

• 1. Nightvision Camcorder - self-explanitory. cover the screen with a grainy, greenish tint and make the eyes reflective.
• 2. Black & White - 1950's style hues and tints to feel vintage
• 3. Sepia - western-style filter with more orange hues
• 4. Depth of Field - Give an option to put the background out of focus.

     I know there's probably lots of other lighting and filter options that I forgot to list here. If you can think of any other fun ones, please share! I'm sure that lighting could be difficult to program into the game because it may affect the frame rate and lag for users. But, if it can be done, I think it would add a whole new dynamic element to AChat.
