We finally got some kilt action going! As for moderators, there should be at least an every other day check in, or even every three days. I want the "horns" available to men, or at least a version of them (perhaps a little further toward the forehead). We'll probably have to wait till next halloween now for something that would have been so simple.
If they come out with wedding fashions, would there be any chance of opening the "open chat" area for nuptials? Sorry... wandering again. looking forward to the poll!

I echo the opinion of Lover and want to add something to it..
The website is the official portal between the game, the developers and us, the members. For the dev-team, this should be their businesscard, this IS a web-based program. imo that means that it should be professional, clean and organised in every aspect, including the forum.
The forum has proven to be a database of into (FAQ, Support, Ruules of AChat) and a place to brainstorm about new ideas that could possibly improve the game, and a sparring place for people to match their opinions and views. But that doesn't mean that the people posting, should have a free hand and the forum should expand more and more with topics, of which many have been discussed before. A repetition of subjects is thus created, because the ones that were started before, are burried under pages and pages of threads.
The subsection "Share your creative ideas' consists of 40 pages of threads. Each holding 20 threads, that is about 800 topics. I doubt all this topics are unique. Organising this subsection for starters, could mean prolonged discussion, or putting an end to some, just using them as an info database, a kind of elaborate faq. There lies the task of a moderator as well, not just enforcing the few vague rules they applied to the forum..
hmm, my 2 cents at least..

I couldn't agree more. I started trying to read old threads and topics, but finally gave up after trying to post to a topic that had been dead for 6 months to a year. There is tons of fascinating stuff here, but I guess I just need to set aside one night a week to read old stuff. Anyway, having it organized would be extremely helpful. I started a topic but can't find it. Don't know if I deleted it or not. |
