hi all  Wink

if i try to update ->

this error window pops at the end of updating (while extracting)

versionupdate.log:

 Local release: 1
 Server release: 1
 Local version: 17
 Version on the server: 18
 Downloading upgrade_dir\18.7z
 Cannot open extract log for reading!!!
 Could not collect decompressed files !!!
any ideas? =/

hi all

i fixed the problem

for all ppl who have the same problem:

go to .....\AChat\upgrade_dir
extract 18.7z
copy and overwrite the extracted files to the game folder -> .....\AChat\prog_data and ....\AChat (<- only achat.exe)

 Smiley ok, but this is not recommended
Do you have a mobile net connection, or traditional like ADSL?

i have the same problem again ....
i uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game
downloading 7z. and extract 7z. is no problem
first patch (i think it was 15.zip) ->
downloading is no problem
extracting -> error

i have no chance to patch manuel because i need all patches =/
could you update the version for download on this site? i dont know what to do =/

a new full version will be available in a day. Till then we will check again the upgrader message you have mentioned at the beginning.

one question, if you could help please:

after the upgrade fails, can you see the file extract.log in the upgrade_dir directory? If yes, what is its content?

Can someone help me with this?

I get the same error message, with the added problem that I can't work out where the files are installed !

The program subsequently loads but it is not patched so it doesn't work properly

Ok, I found the hidden folder and fixed it i think by doing what Rab said
