I would love to be able to send my spouse and other friends a nice shirt or gift of some kind. Is this in the works? I would love it if it is because we should be able to give freely to our friends regardless of their gender!

Though the A-Team doesn't tell us what we get next, I don't believe they change the gift system. That means, you only are able to give money (A$) and your friends can buy a membership, positions and clothes.

Still, the RP element can again bridge the gap. You can send A$, but send the exact amount and tell them what it was your "bought" for them.
You could even gift the amount for a new position and RP that you TAUGHT them that position... an idea I like more and more.

It is good that the boys could receive gifts. I have friends with girls profiles that can give them money. In Romania is more difficult to activate a profile and you can buy in shops. It is more bureaucracy. Gifts for boys, gifts for all!

I agree 100%. Males should be able to receive gifts too. It looks like the community has voted pretty unanimously on this topic. And no, I don't believe it will be difficult to implement. Right now there must be a code somewhere that says "If recipient = F, gift OK, If recipient = M, gift not OK". Either remove that bit of code or just change it to say OK for both sexes.

Hi there... for what reason cant males get gifts... i mean... so many guys are beeing woman here and its freaking me out...
I wanna make a gift to a friend... WHY cant i gift males.. Achat is so... yea... racist then... Males have also the rights to get gifts... not woman only..
So this is my feeling atm... it would be nice if females could spoil a guy to.. and not just with our pussy. But with a real Smile and graditude.

First of all, it's not racist because race isn't the issue....it's sexist because it's discrimination by gender.
Second, I (and some girls) have been asking for this for a while....I have a poll somewhere on here (should still be active, I haven't locked it) with 100% for males being able to receive gifts. HOPEFULLY that will come soon....
I do know this, it's not 100% of a client thing either....it's code in the website that needs changed....gifting is performed on the site, not in the client (which is something else that could be changed maybe?)

Just as a note Lola, when he says code he means programming code, not moral code. So it would require time and work. That said people have been asking for a long time now for them to do that work.

Honestly, the work should be minimal and I see no reason whatsoever for this limitation in the first place. My guess is that this is a one minute change and would make us users more happy and more cash flow into the system.
Why do we have this pointless limitation?

As a programmer, nothing is ever a "one minute" fix....I'm assuming based on the volume of the site, the system runs using a database and there is programming code in the page to access that database....there's probably a statement that says something like "If user is male, do not show gift, if user is female, show gift" (gift means the link to perform gifting)....while the straight forward part is to eliminate the gender check (which would only be a few lines of code), they would need to remove it, test it, then re-upload the new files to the server to make it a "live" fix. I would expect the testing to take at least 1-4 weeks.
And in case you're wondering, I'm a college student with knowledge of C++, Java, Visual Basic, HTML, XHTML, PHP, SQL, ASP, and CSS (the last 6 are key for web page/site creation: PHP is the code that accesses databases, which pull the data using SQL; CSS and HTML turn the result in to something like this forum)

Yea, I'm well aware of the most likely structure of the database and its queries. As you pointed out, the fix would be really simple, but if things were to be done right it needs to be tested after that. Most likely this very code was already changed and tested to allow for shemale gifting (can anyone deny/confirm that?) so the overhead would be minimal if they chose to go ahead with the change. In practice, I doubt the team has enough man power to go through a full test cycle. It's most likely done by the same few people who implemented the fix in the first place. I'm happy to see a fellow programmer around, especially a female one.

To bring this discussion back to topic, we don't know the reason. But Lola, if you take a look around in this forum you will find many threads about this and also the poll apollo started. http://www.funnyadultgamesplay.com/forum/index.php/topic,516.0.html (http://www.funnyadultgamesplay.com/forum/index.php/topic,516.0.html)
If you wanna seach yourself, just type "gift" into the search box.

I'm pretty sure I know the reason that men will never be able to receive gifts, and I'm sure not going to post it here to give people ideas... I will be very surprised if they do allow it one day.
