I for one like the meter just the way it is. It works good provided, like sinnnn said, you remember in the heat of sex to use it. But the nice part is it gives your partner an indication of how aroused you are. So in that sense you get some feedback from them instead of being able to look in their eyes or feel their skin getting goosebumps, or thier body shaking. Until those signs can be transmitted the meter works for me.
