AChat needs an exception in the firewall to be able to communicate with the server. After starting AChat Windows should offer the possibility to add this exception and you have to accept it. This exception can be added also later any time.
Other possibility is that you have a router, which disables UDP based communication, what is required to play with AChat. UDP is commonly used by computer games, but your browser works with TCP, so if you can use the browser, you still can have problems with AChat. Please check the settings of your router.
- If I register as Premium member, and spend all my A$ before additional A$ comes from the renewal, can I buy additional A$?

Yes, Premium members can buy additional A$ any time they need it. As a Premium member you can see a button "Buy A$" on the right side in the home menu, and the following options are available:

A minor addition to bobbler's response above, between the premium users and robots there's now a section of the temporarily premium members, the ones using their subscription tickets. Seniority seems to be the order now, yes.Thanks Bouli. I thought of that but did not bother to add it.

To list your relationships there are separated buttons, the partner search itself cannot mirror these personal aspects.

The seniority thing must be glitchy. Vikka should not be on top (as much as she likes it there :o) based on which girls are there with her at the time. Other girls do have seniority over her. And she is showing up on page 2 when you search all offline girls, too.

Hi Bouli, I think this will be a big server and data base problem. You must create an own file for everyone who is logged in. The needed server power and memory would be very big. I think its better be used for hot graphic and actions. Do you agree?

This information is already stored in the database, I don't see any added overhead for this addition.
However, as Tom replied, we're to use another mechanism to view our own relationships and I suppose that will have to do.
Or well, one addition I really would like to see in the search list would be a small icon (say, a heart) next to your friends, lovers or spouses. Would that be possible? (Yes, I admit, I might have accepted a few friend requests too many...)

Actually, you can see what type of relation you have with your friends by logging into the home page. There you can see who's private and not.
Not the easiest way to keep track of it, but it's possible still.

I do hope you realise that Tom and Rab devop the game to make money, the gifting system seems to be a way of showing the free user how much better the game is if you subscribe, which in any business is what the people in charge want to do.
I think as a free program you get a lot out of it, there is no class line between free users and subscribers we are all together, and the subscribers have a few more extras, thats why they pay.
You have a choice, stay as you are with the gifts, or you could subscribe, or quit Achat, but you must remember your gifts have been paid for by a subscriber with real world money somewhere along the line.

Guys, if you feel compelled to gift ask them if there is something in the store they would like. Offer to purchase or contribute to the purchase under the limits of the gifting process. Hopefully it will limit the impersonal nature of gifting solely script .

FWIW wemon can gift other wemon, men can't recieve gifts but we can gift each other, I would love to see them change this so I can gift men and you guys can each other.
Also you do not need to be friends/lovers/spouse to gift, any woman can be gifted by using the "Members" section on this website.

While you aren't promised a response I've yet to hear of anyone getting angry over a hello. Many however will get angry if you try to invite them into rooms without asking, AND getting their permission first. Do not invite people to room before talking to them, otherwise it’s called a "Cold Invite" and is considered VERY rude. At best they won't react, but many will put you on their ignore list.
#2. Take a few seconds to fill out your profile, and to read theirs.
Straight guys are going to waste time with homo women, and vice versa. Many times a few seconds worth of reading will let you know if you have odds of getting laid, or just getting ignored.
Profiles will also help you know what you might want to do to get them to talk to you, and what might lead them to put you on their ignore list. You don't have any idea? Just take a look around and read other avatars. And you may ask other people; most are friendly and will help you.
#3. You aren't OWED anything.
No one is obligated to go with you to a room (except RobotBoy and RobotGirl.) No one is even obligated to talk to you. If you act like they are chances are your going to have them demonstrate how they are not by ignoring you. It is up to you to convince them to WANT to talk or room with you.
#4. Keep in mind the language barrier.
If you are a native speaker of English that doesn't mean they are, and if you aren't a native English speaker you aren't obligated to be. Hopefully you can work out some means of communication, but if not that's nobodies fault.
#5. If you don't get an answer after starting to talk wait a little. Now this doesn't mean they don't want to talk to you. It could simply mean that they are either busy, or even away from the computer, and all you are doing is giving them reason to not want to talk to/room with you. Be patient, give them time to reply, it increases your odds of actually getting a response. And don’t start to talk to many people at the same time. Maybe you can’t handle if all answer to you;-)
#6. Treat people as you want to be treated. The best way to have real fun is to be as natural as possible.
#7. Use the search-funktion. If you only wanna find people from your home country click on "Partner Search" and fill your home country in the "Country" field. Achat will filter the members and will show you the members who have the searched country in there profile

#3 Personne ne doit rien à personne
On ne peut pas obliger qui que ce soit à s’isoler dans une chambre (en dehors des deux automates) ou à répondre aux messages. L’agressivité ne sert à rien si la personne ne répond pas, bien au contraire.
#4 La barrière de la langue ne doit jamais être négligée Que vous parliez l’anglais de façon naturelle (ou non) ne veut pas dire que l’autre le fasse aussi (ou non). L’anglais ne doit donc pas être imposé. C’est aux deux protagonistes de trouver un terrain d’entente.
#5 Ne pas répondre ne veut pas forcément dire que l’autre ne veut pas répondre Parfois, l’autre personne n’est pas disponible pour une discussion, que ce soit parce qu’elle s’est absentée de son ordinateur ou qu’elle est déjà occupée. Se montrer trop insistant risquerait d’encourager l’autre personne à vous ajouter à sa black-list ou à vous ignorer complètement. En cas de non-réponse, il vaut mieux attendre un peu et laisser le temps de répondre à l’autre, cela augmentera les chances d’obtenir une réponse agréable au final. Et surtout, il faut éviter de commencer beaucoup de discussions en même temps car il serait peut-être difficile de gérer ces discussions si tout le monde répond.
#6 L’autre est un autre soi-même
Il est important de se comporter avec l’autre comme on aimerait que l’autre se comporte avec soi. En effet, le plus court chemin vers le bonheur est d’être soi-même.
#7 Bien chercher
Si vous ne cherchez que des personnes d'un pays donné, il convient d'utiliser le champ "country" du formulaire de recherche de partenaire. Les personnes qui ont renseigné leur pays de façon ad-hoc seront alors listées.

Heteros verschwenden ihre Zeit mit Homos und umgekehrt. Lies das Profil und du weißt, ob es Sinn macht jemanden anzusprechen oder ob du ignorierst wirst. Zusätzlich helfen dir die Profile auch, um ein Gespräch zu beginne. Hast du keine Idee, wie du dich beschreiben sollst? Schau dich um und lies, was andere schreiben. Und trau dich, andere anzusprechen; die meisten sind freundlich und helfen dir.
3. Niemand schuldet dir etwas! Außer RobotBoy und RobotGirl muss niemand mit dir einen Raum (room) betreten. Auch ist keiner verpflichtet, mit dir zu reden. Du musst sie überzeugen, dass sie mit dir sprechen oder in den Raum gehen möchten.

Vielleicht ist er/sie gerade beschäftigt oder nicht am PC. Wenn du sie mit Nachrichten zumüllst verärgerst du sie nur. Sei geduldig, gib ihnen Zeit, das erhöht deine Chancen auf eine Antwort. Now onto my question.....on top of my 30 day membership, I also purchased the A$10,000 package....
My question is, when I gift her the A$1500 to upgrade to her 30 day membership, does that 30 membership come with A$1500 credits like a normal purchase of a 30 days package does? She can make anything she wants with your gift. If she uses it to purchase the premium membership for 1 month it will be a usual membership with all rights. But she doesn't get any A$ for it, this she only gets if she buys a recurring subscription for 1 month, which will cost her 9,95$ each month.
That means, if she wants to buy clothes, she needs more money/gifts.
I suggest not to send her all the money you have left. There will be updates frequently and you also need some A$ to buy them ;)

As it is I would recommend she start with the A$3K and set a cap, say A$150 and below. Once she's bought all those items she could start bumping it up to say A$200 and so on until she either feels she's got everything she wants, or she runs out of money.
But I'm more then a bit methodical. ::) :P
For the A$1500 I would actually recommend holding onto it because the FM poses come out like crazy and even A$1500 will probably go fairly fast.
BUT as a special note you may want to do it in A$1000-1500 increments because while you can send unlimited amounts to her she can't send anything back and if you DID need something for say new positions, or on the off chance new male wardrobe options are implemented (it's been like 3 items released at the same time in about a year) then you have it.

If you search for a name you have to type the correct latters. If I remember right, you have to type "Robot Girl" with empty spave between and always big capital the first letter.

I think they changed this because of human attitude - people are herd animals. The more premium mebers are shown, the more people also will become premium.
And about your idea of sorting; this could be the answer - though it doesn't make any sense to me, but I didn't make the decision. Sometimes I thought it could be your activity level, but "big spender" first seems to be more the answer.

- while achat ran it sat on UDP port 55405 (I think)
- after shutting it down and restarting, the VersionUpdater was using UDP port 58479
- when achat itself was running again it used UDP port 54835, i.e. not the same one it used previously
Conclusion: it's picking new ports every time you run it. I've no idea which range it is picking its ports from, so you could either open up everything above 1024 or try something a little more restricted like 53000-56000 and hope that that suffices.
The Support page doesn't say much about it either unfortunately, it simply says something like "allow all UDP traffic on your router".
Any suggestions from the ATeam maybe?

+ Invitations to the robots for Group. To test the group positions BEFORE Buying.

Honestly, for a woman to get a decent wardrobe I would suggest a minimum of A$3000, even if she gets an additional A$1500 that would just mean that she could say buy some of the ridiculously priced dresses.......
Since this is an old post, and the economy has worsened, might I suggest AChat open a "consignment shop". Ladies tired of their wardrobe, or those who may have had a boob job and the lingerie doesn't fit, could sell it back and new members could "shop" for bargains.
Note: Before you start throwing shoes at me, at least my suggestion brings some reality to the game. ;D

So a restart would be useful. A FAQ-Topic and not a discussion topic. New topics, sorted by several criteria could be added in the same board. And a moderator, who puts wrong questions to the right topics.
Medjai, I'm sure the A-Team know here are many volunteers, they just have to ask. The only problem, we can't open, move and change boards (which is correct, don't wanna be misunderstood). So even if we offer our help, the main work has to be done by the A-Team.

Friend of mine is having problems with some of her backgrounds she has bought over time. Some of them she simply cant see via the character editor. When I log into her account I do see them. Is there a quick way to fix this without having to reinstall the game ?

I have a question which may seem a little silly but I am never the less...curious ! I have noticed a male player called the "Administrator" I asked him if he is employed by Achat and he said he is indeed. He said he is there to help any user with any system issues that may arise. Sorry to be so suspicious but because of the fact there are so many devious players I just wanted confirmation that he is actually a Achat employee/ administrator. One of the things that raised my suspicions that he may be a fraud is he describes himself has a "sex maniac" that likes "masturbation"? surely it would be more fitting for a Administrator to describe himself has talkative?

Bumping these notes. I tried to help a prospective new member with finding a solution for his problem. I found the name of the avatar on forum, but it is kinda difficult to find in the search menu, as the profile name is too long to fit in the 'name' section. Does the Admin stille exist in the game? And wouldn't it be easier if the name would fit the search menu?

Select a pic from another website
- The photo has to be on a website. The example I found by using the terms "body painting" in google, then chosed "pics" in search and

Yes, Premium members can buy additional A$ any time they need it. As a Premium member you can see a button "Buy A$" on the right side in the home menu, and the following options are available:

Of course the A$ coming from the Premium membership renewal will be added to the user's account also.

Sorry to say, that is not possible. We can only post pics that are allready online. So you have to parc them somewhere on the net where you get a URL for that pic. Then you can paste the URL inbetween the [img] qoutes.

stop your firewall and anti-virus for a moment and try to login. Are you running apps on your comp, eg skype via firefox? Disable them too. Restart and try again. If it doesn't work, donwload the current AChat software, remove the old one and try again.

Yes, you can.
1. Go to "Shop" and log in.
2. Click on "Show Profile" in little writing under "Gallery"
3. Look to the left, near the top, you will see a grey box underneath some flags "Upgrade" This box shows "Buy A$" if your subscription is already valid.
4. Click on that and follow the instructions to pay whether it is to upgrade to premium or to buy more A$ credits.
5. You will be awarded the appropriate A$ for the amount / length of the subscription you choose eg- 6,000A$ for 12 months ; 1,500A$ per month if you choose a recurring monthly subscription.

Maron is right, there is not an option to paint your toenails, nor buy different sets like you can with fingernails.
The toenails do change, along with fingernails (if you do not have the purchased fingernail versions) when you change your makeup. They are all connected.

4th box down is your make up.
The ones you can use will be shown.
The ones you will need to buy will also be marked. You can click on the makeup to buy if you have enough A$
This will change your toe nails when you change your make up.

I'm quite interested in possibly buying subscription to A-Chat but I wanted to check what happens when the sub expires.
I read in another FAQ that the clothes will not be swappable (which is fine) but I wondered what will happen to any positions purchased.

I'm afraid the poses are locked too, along with the clothes. But if the person you are rooming with is still subscribed then their poses are still available. But they might not have the ones you like, or any.
If we had access to the poses once our subscription expired no one would ever renew.
If you subscribe for Twelve Months you do get a lot of ACHAT $ though. And if you do run out then you can easily buy more, if you can afford it that is. I personally use the option to pay through GamePay. You can use PayPal. That's one of the reasons I like this place. As well as all the amazing people I've met here. ;)

Welcome to Forum :)
When you register for a new avatar, it does default to female. You just click on male or shemale as appropriate.
Now that you have registered as a female, you have 2 choices -
1. You can open a new account as a male character but will have to change to a different name.
or
2. Explain your error to Achat and ask that your account be changed to male. You do this by clicking on "Support" above and a text box will appear. Fill in the box and explain what has happened and what you want.
Please be patient though, Achat have been very busy of late and are taking awhile to answer queries.

When your subscrition is finished you had a message in game.
Yes you have the A$ corresponding to the type of subscription you have taken.
If you want more A$, your subscription must be valid.
- Buy A$2500 virtual credit, it costs only $14.95
- Or buy A$5000 virtual credit for $24.95 (save 17%)
- Or buy A$10000 virtual credit for $39.95 (save 33%)

3 Simple steps but all are important :
1. Tell CCBill or whoever is responsible for collecting the payments you wish to cancel your Achat subscription. You could do that by return reply to your original confirmation email when you first paid premium this way or email CCbill here : support@ccbill.com
and
2. Tell Achat you wish to cancel your subscription through "Support" on top of page above.
and
3. Inform your bank / credit card company you no longer wish to subscribe to Achat and to stop payments from immediate effect.

The other subscriptions are 3 monthly and yearly which are paid in full first. I cannot imagine this would cause any financial hardship as you would just allow it to lapse and buy again when you could afford it.

Can you offer a 1 day premium subscription? At the moment the shortest time for a subscription is 3 days ($200). Having the option of a 1 day subscription (eg for approx $70 or $80) would be really useful. Please let me know. Cheers. Randy Guy.

can someone please explain to me how the 1 month premium membership works?! i just spent A$1500 for a months prem, and all i seem to be able to do is change the speed, i cant cum, i dont have poses..nothing! what exactly do i get for my 1 month premium membership??!!!
1. the membership - you are Member and can recieve gifts ( A$ ) and yu can post in forum and a few3 other things the Mods might can explain better
2. near the spead LEFT SIDE you can adjust the arousing METER :) go all + and you will CUM :)
3. POSES and CLOTH ALL that you have to BUY in shop extra BUT you go to keep them as long you are FULL MEMBER
That why I bought after a trial period of 2 month and myde my mind up A 1 yr Membership That is cheaper than paying monthly plus you get a gift of 6000 A$ to get the poses amd cloth you want the most

If you pay for a one year suscription it's a non recurring, I know because I take this option since 5 years.
There are three types of subscription:
- Recurring, $9.95/month gives A$1500 virtual credit every month
- Non-recurring, $24.95/3months gives A$3000 virtual credit once
- Non-recurring, $49.95/year gives A$6000 virtual credit once
When my suscription is finish I have a message in game and on my profil too on the Home page.
After you choose what you want :)

No subscription gives access to all Poses / Clothes / Rooms.
You must purchase separately and you are again access as soon as your subscription is taken.

I wanted to make another account on here, no problem. I log into it on the Client, logs me in. Mind you I signed as a free user on my new account.
I go to buy clothes the moment I get a chance, transaction keeps failing.
So i decide to log out and log back in.
Password randomly changed during me changing my clothes, and now I cannot get back into it.
I decided to make another, yes another account.
Same exact problem. But I can log into my main one fine.
So now I have 2 wasted accounts, and I cant login to them even on the web page.
Please help.

Achat made some changes in regard to multiple accounts due to the many complaints concerning clones and alternative accounts used to attack, annoy and harass our members.
As you have now found, you have been denied your extra accounts automatically.
I also know, that a new account has to reach a level 10 before it can give likes and dislikes out, as again this facility was abused by members.
I suspect also, this is why suddenly there is an influx of old accounts suddenly appearing in the game with 0 or low levels.
If you wish to buy an extra account, I suggest you contact Support for advice.

I'm getting married in Winter in just under four weeks, we've got quite a big list of guests, 35, plus us, so 37 currently, not including potential +1's for the guests. Does anyone know the maximum number of people that can be in Winter at one time without getting bumped into overflow?
As we'll be arriving last, we obviously don't want the brides unable to get to their own wedding!!!

I think the number is just your level. As you buy poses, rooms and the items for the rooms it goes up. I've noticed on mine it does anyway.
It doesn't affect anything, I don't think.
