When I accept an invite I just get a spinning wheel then nothing. The same goes for those who accept invites from me. Any idea what could cause this?

Sounds like you picked up a glitch on one of the upgrades perhaps.

Try uninstalling everything to do with Achat and then installing the game again.

So I uninstalled and re-installed and it opens up completely black and give me the error " code 30: your video card probably does not support required functions" my vid card is a GTX580. I wonder if it has anything to do with my video drivers.

Fixed, uninstalled AChat and rolled back my drivers. Back in action :)
