Personally I find this unnecessary and ridiculous.
We are not in a game "classic", I did not need to know my rank or my level ... My level of what?
I would have preferred a smaller profile listed on one of the game.
The current game is to not like some people you don't know for plenty reasons!
Strange for a game that wants to be social!
All that to say that I hate this system.

I can sort of understand wanting this place to be social as the Meeting Places have now being added. But I do think that it's a little unnecessary too.
A profile would be nice actually. A separate one from your banner in the lobby would be even better, awesome actually.
So, yes I guess I'm saying I don't like it either.

Personally, NOT a FAN. I prefer the "OLD" fashion method of "CHATTING" to get to know someone.
As part of the "get-to-know" phase it would be nice to have the ability to display or profile certain details upon request with a button of some sort.
As far as the dislikes and likes, totally USELESS, I have not used it ONCE, I refuse.
Same goes for the RATING number. I really have no idea what's being RATED.

Likes and dislikes? They can be bought and reflect a totally false opinion of one : some sure beg for likes, some maybe create tons of avis just to dislike someone...

My opinion about the new system: Absolutely silly. If you could add your own messages/infos, it would be good. But a rating system and the infos about rooms,poses, relationships...not needed

Poses and Places could be placed side by side, occupying only one line, making room for other useful info.
Premium Certified is great idea and works as an Age verification system.

Rating is useless and makes bad blood.
Premium certified is not a good idea cos some ppl here cannot use a creditcard.
LEVEL isnt bad .. but difficult to find a good solution for calculate it.
In the popup window would be nice to see more information.
In the nickname maybe if the other ppl is a friend/lover/spouse cos of the clones and similar names.
and at least we can use ignore list.. makes all better

This like/dislike system is terrible. You enter a room with is filled with a bunch of people who are brand new. Don't even say a word and then you have more dislikes. It shouldn't bother me, but there is nothing beneficial to it. if someone is a problem there is a method to report them. It's actually beginning to discourage me from wanting to go into the public spaces.
In most cases from what I can tell it's usually guys. They typically are the ones who have like 2 poses and it's them wanting to make you look bad in hopes that someone will room with them. It's just bad.

I find the system of like and hates it really useless, why made a system like this one, we are not on Facebook or tinder.
It would have rather added things really useful and which would return more the platform amusing, there are so much possibilities still to explore.

Yes there are anomalies, the list of friends / lovers / spouses, we have already warned developers.
I have all the poses of the game and I have already seen a shemale who had more poses than me!
I think the best would be sincerely to stop this dislike system that takes the ressources for nothing !!!

I`ve been reading this thread and there are some good points. The rating system at the moment is a complete waste of time. It`s all based on opinions of others, and we all know that doesn`t work.
A good profile of the person would be good, as would the number of poses and rooms owned, as we have already. I think adding a figure to show how often the person logs in would be good too. That would show serious users how often they may get to see a lover etc.
Also, as an added thing, I believe the coloured light denoting what the person is doing should have a new colour added. The current "busy" could just mean that, but a different colour should be used if the person is in a room with another. We have all spent time fruitlessly chasing around the MP`s looking for somebody for no reason.
I think the powers that be at Achat need to seriously have a good look at how things work. Maybe listening to the longer serving customers is a good way to start..

The account level, number of poses and places owned as well as the join date I can understand, but the like/dislike system is currently just being abused. Guys are getting dislikes by just being in a meeting place, while every half-naked woman is sitting at 80+ percent likes. It doesn't give you any clue about the person and can just have a negative effect on ones experience with the game.

I usually only post ONCE on a specific topic, but this is an exception. I read almost everything posted to forum and I have not seen a topic as "LOPSIDED" as this. Virtually EVERYONE is against this feature. It is TOXIC, it does nothing but fuel bad behavior and negative feelings. It is a cancer in here, please remove it NOW. Listen to US just ONCE.

It has been 16 DAYS since they informed NAT that they would remove / change this "CANCEROUS" feature.
Not only is it STILL here. we have seen "Questionable" updates and have heard NOTHING from them.
The SILENCE is most INSULTING.
I am NO "techie" I have NO clue what needs to be changed or how long it takes. So I will not "GRILL" Achat over this.
BUT ..... their SiLENCE ?

I think i speak for most of us, ALL we asking is, why cant the the AChat team talk to us first before they make upgrade?
For example:
"Hey there people that pay for AChat to be here, we are working on a nice idea to put up dislike or like future on the meeting place...."
"hey your guys that opinion counts but we don't really care about it, we want to put a list of valuables on the buy list so you can decor your rooms, that will cost you 450 000 A$ to buy everything"
Instead they but up things to make everyone complain about it!

According to Achat's Terms of Service have a voice.. Achat gives all players the freedom to post, comment, bitch, complain, make suggestions..
Achat Terms of Service is a Contract. It simply states what their legal obligations to you as a player are. It says they are not REQUIRED. That is a big difference than saying they will NOT or that they do NOT. I think it was poor judgement for another player to post those particular Terms of Service inserts in order to tell others to stop whining.. stop hoping.. stop waiting.. stop caring. She certainly isn't employed by Achat, or qualified to speak on their behalf.
Kaitlyn - NEVER let another player here make you feel like you have to quiet your voice. You have a beautiful passion about the things that are meaningful to you. Its wonderful for us all to see someone who stands up for what they want.. and fights for it in such an artistic, enthusiastic and exquisite way. Your words are captivating.. don't ever stop posting and don't ever lose hope that you will one day proudly and triumphantly wear a beautiful collar around your elegant neck.
Zuzannah - I absolutely ADORE your sense of style and I love the suggestions you make for the game, and the pics you post. Please don't stop making suggestions or stop hoping. Your voice is too important and precious to be quieted.
Achat isn't perfect and yes they SUCK at communication. It's been said here on the forum many times that relations between Achat and players could be vastly improved if they talked more to the players, especially posting about upcoming updates and features, and involving us more in the decision making process about what types of updates are most desired. It's true we will not always get what we want.. but we must NEVER stop asking.. never stop hoping.. and Yes.. be LOUD about the things we are passionate about.

but not only put forward, maps provided,
not just provided but explanations given,
not just explanations but tutorials explained,
not just designs but real items that could be put in the shop.
A talented designer who could make things for members and even personalise them! Imagine that!
A talented designer sending items and ideas in time after time and nothing in weeks, in months nothing.
So posted A sarcastic message & vent to Achat actually agreeing with every single frustration felt by every single member who has ever asked or requested something and there has been nothing, no acknowledgement, no agreement, no thanks, no yes but no thanks, no nothing.
Of course, they don't have to answer... it says in their Terms of Service but its fucking rude, ignorant and bad judgement.

I am playful, impetuous, and almost ALWAYS having fun, But I fear some misconceptions have been developed over the last few days, specifically regarding and understanding my posts.
SECOND: Sarah is my FRIEND. I LIKE her a lot and have great respect for her. We PM each other and have had many discussions on various Achat topics. I need to make sure that ALL of my Friends and Forum peers UNDERSTAND that Sarah was NOT attacking me in any way. She was trying, like me, to be funny and sarcastic about our "ranting n raving" with the Achat gods. But has been misunderstood, like so many of US are in here.
THIRD: I have spoken of this in poem and post, but feel I MUST revisit this topic again. WORDS, their intentions, their meaning and what gets lost in translation. We live in an international community, if the use of words was not already difficult enough we have different languages, translations and cultures here. It is so very important for us all , including me MOST, to realize that our words as intended and spoken are not always received and understood as such. Many times without the benefit of body language or facial expression, a part of our meaning is lost or confused in translation. We are such a special community here, so small, so diverse.
I did not see this coming, but I should have. I just hope I have cleared MY "truth" up before any more feelings are hurt. You are my friends, you are also my peers in here. Please don't let us unravel under strain. We ARE better than that. I KNOW we are.

Btw: I'm still waiting for the "tool" to get rid of freaks and stalkers. That was promised by "Administrator" back in beginning of September...so i wouldn't count on a quick solution for the like/dislike system.

He warns AChat and developers about the requests of players.
The Administrator is of good faith but after that it should follow and apparently this is not the case.

But for sure its worth while to arrange some polygons to room valuables which are utter nonsense too in my opinion.
It would be much much much much much more attractive for me - and would make me spend something in opposite to valuables - to buy shoes, a piece of cloth or a nice jewelry and transfer this to another player, to make some more personal presents than just A$.
If someone says: "Oh, this earrings are so beautiful on you!" to be able to hand them over and say: "They are yours. With love."

You're right Foxy but if AChat removed this system of like and dislikes it would definitely be more playable on the meeting places.

I know paid members who have left for other sites because of it.
As to why it is taking so long, it may be because it is tied into the user levels. Removing it will drastically alter some peoples levels. They may be trying to figure out a way around that, but frankly I would not care if removing the dislikes cut my level in half.
I'm at 265 now, and could not give a damn if it dropped it even farther if they just got rid of the crappy thing.
Replace it with private message for friends only feature, or nothing at all.

The levels can be fun actually. A newbie tried to lecture me that his level was going up because he roomed people with a higher level than his. I tried to explain to him his idea was wrong, a minute later he started insulting me, probably easier than just accepting that he was wrong. It just verifies what I thought when the levels were implemented...it reveals alot about people.

It was a talking point when it was first added but, really, what's the point of it ?
To me it just shows that some people are better off then others. You know, can afford more things. Poses, rooms etc. Is anyone really interested it what other people have got ? Yes, we talk about items that have been added and that's it. I don't really want anyone seeing what I've got or haven't got.
To be honest with you, I've stopped looking at the profile when you click on someone. I can't be the only one that has.
After what the ACHAT team has done with the collars, I find it a little bit difficult in saying anything negative. But this needs to be either moved entirely or changed a bit / lot. All the information removed and have a space to put something about yourself there instead. I think the only thing I would keep is the Date Started part.

Yes, we got our collars. A simple request that started with a single voice. Yet it took over 6 years and close to 300 posts. BUT, it reveals a truth. We DO matter. WE can effect change. Even the Achat Gods, ( sorry Foxy I know how you dislike my use of "GOD" in this context but I truly only use it metaphorically) must listen to us when we come together as a team and shout out our pleas.
I am encouraged to see "newbie's" to Forum getting involved, voicing your comments, BUT .... it can't stop there. If this world is important to YOU, if you plan on staying, participating and getting to know your peers. Then YOU must do more than comment once or twice, pick up your sword and let your feelings be known in a forum thread. Show Achat your comments have strength and conviction.
Nothing is free, regardless which world you live in.
As for the Rating system in general? Aside from the toxic "dislike" feature, I am NOT a fan. I do not look at it, never have. As NAT has mentioned, more than once, no one in our WORLD has a clue what the rating even means. It 's not that the idea of a rating system is BAD, it is just BAD for US. We are all human here, we are not perfect, we have our flaws, our insecurities. This feature unfortunately plays to our weaknesses, to our "Dark" side. Creating US and THEM, BETTER and WORSE, HAVE and HAVE NOT......... NOT FUN.
THIS is NOT why I come here.

My dislikes went from 39 to 76 in 20 minutes and I know who did it. For me, I am flattered because they consider me such a threat to them. I looked only because I could watch the ALT land and stay but a minute and look again and seen they landed long enough to give me two dislikes and go change ALTS. I was giggling because it tells me what a miserable life that person has that they can not find anything better to do with their time. I am just happy they felt so concerned about me, they wasted so much time chasing me instead of walking over to talk to me like adults usually do.

I think signing up for FREE is a nice advertising but there should be a ROOM ONLY FOR NEWBIES to enter.

A person cares THAT much about ratings, likes and dislikes, and creates avatars to 'hurt a particular person'. That would mean this person would use the created avatars to push his own avatar as well? Or do you believe someone is THAT important that someone makes avatars just to give dislikes to one person and drops the avatars once it's done? Doesn't sound logical, anyone investing that much time and work would surely push his / her own avatar as well. Now, i'd say find someone with an extreme high count of likes.

Alone by searching for Short Info 'Cool' I identified 36 accounts, and these are only the accounts that didnt go inactive after not being used anymore. You can imagine how many accounts someone with 650 likes must have made...
But it is obviously tolerated, IF NOT WANTED, by achat.

For me and for many it's also a very social game.
But by adding the possibility of creating 200 or more free accounts for all and for all ages and having a bonus of 1000A$, the social take a hit!
The system of likes/dislikes don't arrange things of course!
Since this system exists people look at this "ranking" and judge without knowing or speaking.
There will always be people to divert the system and cheat and of course this is an escalation, everyone will or will go elsewhere.
I personally think that AChat must remove this system of dislikes and make players pay by bank cards even if it"s cheap 5$ for example.
So there will be an age check.
Because currently a child can be Premium for free!

I have met some "newbies" that are cool as well. Paid a couple premiums and extra for clothes to help them get started. It is cool being able to chat with people from anywhere in the world. I have no troubles with people that are new. My problem stems from AChat not logging IP's to track how many ALT's a person has and what those ALT's are doing to agitate paying users here. I know there is a way because other sites can do it and people have to pay up before they can sign another AVI up or they are not allowed at all.

I agree totally with you Nat, if you want to sign up for the game you need to sign up using credit card details before you can play the game. Achat doesn't have to bill you but at least they will have proof that your older than 18 and your safe to play the game! They can even give those people a 7day trail version, just asking as they have proof that that person is older than 18 years. Then we all can play the game in peace

I think a simple system like cast a vote would be good. No LIKE or DISLIKE.
If you like a partner - you just put up a VOTE for him\her and tha builds up statistic for that player. More VOTEs - the better player is represented.
And searches (lists sorting) should be based on number of VOTES that player has.

As a relative newcomer, but one-year premium member, I find the like/dislike system useless.
As a bisexual female, I find that that voting works two ways:
(a) whenever I politely decline to be a guy's fuck-toy, I'm a bitch and get a dislike.
(b) whenever I chat with a woman and treat her like a real person, I get a like.
So, with women, having a good number of both is a badge of honor, of sorts. Needless to say, this is contrary to what the novice would expect.
I imagine that for men, like/dislike works in a more expected way. Nice fellows are generally liked by women, while assholes are generally disliked by women, and most men probably don't rate each other at all (except for mutual likes to appear more attractive). But I don't really know, since I've only had one multi-sentence conversation with a man that didn't involve sex.
Once I realized that "level" referred to how many sex places and positions you'd bought, I found it a generally useful value, but that's not the usual understanding of the word "level" in the online world.
IMPORTANT - NEED SEXUAL ORIENTATION
I cannot see sexual orientation of anyone until I ask, or we become friends. My usual "gaydar" with looks and body language doesn't work in Achat.
On the other hand, the (s) tag for shemales is very helpful. Saves a lot of embarasment later - on when you realize none of your FF or FFF sex positions will work.

There are two types, ACTIVE and PASSIVE. Both take time but one just happens and is kinda out of our control, while the other needs us and our energy.
ACTIVE change needs believers and champions, it takes effort to change minds and perseverance against the weight of time.
This is an example of what ACTIVE change looks like. With humble beginnings, it started with a post by NAT33 made over 14 months ago. First it was our forum members who shared their views then others from the Achat community flocked to the cause, wanting their voices heard too.
I wish NAT was here with us to finally celebrate this change. If only Achat had been more responsive…. NAT and so many others might still be here.
BUT…. I am happy this feature is gone.

I am a new one, I dont know how it used to be once in here without LIKE system. But I LIKE it because it gives experienced users the chance to interact at a minimum, ans also decent and polite level with the new users. Once they get 1 LIKE from other users, and they are told that the just got a LIKE, they will open themselves up to you, they will begin to trust you, and suddenly realise the platform is user friendly and easy going, and not reserved only for the so called "Elite" users but also for new members. The 3 day trial system and the LIKE system go hand in hand and I believe they are both important for the new users to decide whether it is worth buying the premium membership or not.
I am not a fan of whoring new members and teach them how to get premium without paying a dime. It is demeaning for them as human beings, and also counterproductive in the long run. Achat platform needs real money and also real sponsors to survive, not just brothels and pimps. So, yes, the LIKE system is useful, as well as the good old old fashioned chat in any of the open places up there. It is what they do on Facebook or any other social network on the internet. It is trendy, it is useful, and the developers made the right choice with this one. Kiss :-*!!!

See how I said he / she there to keep them anonymous :-*

I totally completely agree, DISLIKE must have been quite a pain in the butt for most users. Some users maybe also created alternate accounts just to make it hard for others who minded their own business. Good thing they removed it, and kept the LIKE only ;). I understand now why so many others won't have this LIKE system no matter what. But eventually they, the guys in charge, did listen to you all, and they changed it because they realised you were right. Which means they actually read your complaints, and they care about you, and are also flexible people. Good for you that you claimed your rights as members, and so good for them that they listened to you.

I was reading and thinking in the ideas of all you people. I prefer a personal system of rating, means what if you can rate your partner after sex in a five heart scale or symbos (broken , blu , green, red, golden heart). And if this is showed only to you in the search results intead of that blue star comming from the older versions.
