I believe women and shemales would like to be enabled to gift men .
an other ting i would like in all poses is that you could change action in anyposes without loosing what's already going on

I'll second the welcome to the forum. I will say that when making recommendations to the development team avoid "any" concepts because "any" is hard to code. More detail is always better.

I second the notion that males should be allowed to receive gifts. First Gay lovers should be able to send gifts to each other and they cant.
The main reason to allow gifts for males is that it encourages males to set up female accounts so they can receive gifts. I have found this out a couple of times myself in the short time I have been here. I realize this is a fantasy site and you can set up what ever kind of account you want. But if males were on an equal playing ground,as far as gifts go, there would be less cross-orientation. (dont know if thats a word, but)

I agree as to what is listed on another topic. A$ gifts should be stopped altogether. All it does is promote prostitution. It should be gifts we can buy, flowers candy teddy bears things like that, not maney.

It's an old topic in here. It's true that gifting males will help to limit the number of girl profiles owned by men (it's not that I'm against that starting from the point the guy plays well but most often the way they play girls just stinks), it will be fairer and it will allow girls to gift their partner in another way than just lay with them. Moreover, if some girls have the prostitution fantasy, some have the gigolo fantasy too.

An option to gift a cloth drom the shop might be an alternative for those who would love to buy something for their "best friends". At least this would avoid the prostitute type of activities to get A$ to pay for membership

The gigolo fantasy can be handled without the need of receiving gifts, I have been approached by many guys selling the services of their girls. That actually is a point why NOT to provide the gifting,... there are too many premium male customers and not enough available females to allow a man to fund his account from the services of his hookers.
Nor do we need to provide a mechanism for false females to fund their male accounts which is the primary reason for the restriction. There really are only 2 choices available here. Keep the model as is,... or do away with the option of gifting all together.
The interesting observation I hold here, is that the women you are active in the forum, are of the types where the scrip are not the issue,... the qualities of the partner is the important point.
For that I express my admiration to you all.

In an ideal Achat world, it would be lovely to gift anyone you wanted but the growing prostitution on here would only get worse , I feel , and men would become involved in the pimping of their girls & vice versa .. and I personally think that would be the start of the ruin of Achat as the game I love to take part in.
I also think there are more men here than girls so stopping the gifting to them would prevent girls from becoming premium, and may then,discourage
them from playing. They are the minority and need incentive to join whether we like it or not.
Sorry guys, I think the cost of allowing you to receive AS is just too high a price to pay. However, I would like to buy gifts from the shop for my special man.
I am therefore with Bear on this, leave the gifting system as it is , or abolish the whole AS gifting lark and provide gifts you can buy instead for those special friends and lovers. The second option, means members / achat take the chance and may loose some female members though.

I don't see how being able to gift men would increase prostitution.
I play in the game every day except Saturday and get involved with every sex unlike some of the opinionated posters on this forum.
I think gifting could be improved in that it could be gifts from the shop rather than $A (however I do have a "Free" friend who I would willingly gift $A to to help him become premium, does that make him a gigolo?) but rather than do away with it lets make it realistic.

Lets face facts, Money is what makes the world go round. achat survives because there is money spent. Thats why the prostitution is allowed to fluorish. Someone has to buy the A$ spent on here so since the men are the biggest spenders here they cannot receive gifts, so they have to buy the A$. Without the prostitution and the gifting process achat couldnt afford to continue, there are some members that were prem that have went back to free, what money doea Achat make from these users, None. By buying A$ we make it possible for all achat users to continue to enjoy the upgrades and the use of this wonderful program. I do think there has to be a improvement in the billing system as there are some users whose cards cannot purchase A$ or subscriptions. I have 3 different card and two of them are turned down by my bank. I think that the perfect solution would be to set up a payment thru Paypal. I have never failed to have this work.

Rukya, i have a rechargeble card and it works whitout a bank. i just have to go to the local post office, charge it and have to link it whit paypal, if i wanna use. My (and Medjai) lucky is this: the card is a Visa circuit one and i can use it directly here via CCBILL. well, it work like this till december.....but i don't think something is changed

I saw your threads and i thought about it.
Many free users reported me that they can only survive with gifts, bacause they don't have a credit card.
I do think it's kinda prostistution to ask for a gift to go in room. I can't bear it, i'm sorry. It seems like a market...
Some young people have a nude avatar, dress like b****** and claim gifts ? I don't think acaht is like that.
But still, there is many people who don't need gift to go in room who are also very nice.
Moreover, a few days ago i gifted a girl because she was very nice to me, she was new and she needed poses. So she send me her pics.
I have sufficient money, so that is not a big problem for me, but i think it should be nice for some free users. It's a question of equality. Sure achat needs to work with money, i agree. But isn't premium membership enought ?
To conclude, for me gifting isn't important, because i have some money. But i want to stop this "prostitution" in achat. But i want achat to survive.
So let's stay like that but women, please stop asking gifts.

To gift or not to gift? As I have expressed elsewhere, I would love to be able to gift my men friends when I want. I think that the gift should come from the heart, too. Not as a payment for services. I have gifted many of my friends, because I WANTED to, not because I felt obligated to. There's a big difference in that (for me).
And I like the idea of being able to send a material gift, too. A teddy bear or box of virtual chocolates would be nice to give and receive and some lovely boudoir shoes, too. I would like to get ones like these:

Following your premise to its' logical conclusion, in real life some "johns" MURDER their prostitute after they brutally use them. I submit that some aspects of real life are undesirable in a "fantasy" game. :(

I enjoying giving $ or gifts when the time comes when I can surprise someone. I think its fun to surprise someone with a gift when they are NOT expecting it. Sometimes it shouldn't even be called a gift on Achat. It's more like payment for room.

Just to clarify: I took no issue with your premise that everyone should be allowed to gift.
I also take no issue that adults have the right to make a decision to sell themselves, despite my personal opinion that it is degrading. My admonition was restricted to your logic, i.e."it happens in real life, ergo it must happen on AChat." This is fallacious and ill-considered. Although your points may be valid, is does not follow that they would be supported by an illogical argumentation of reasoning. ;)

All I did was remove the photo from my quote of Pafe. I made an oops it really didn't need to be there and I was just quoting Pafe. She had a photo in her post which I didn't need to quote. No mocking intended. Basically oops, I really am new here, and too much spam (because I didn't need to quote a photo from Pafe, only her words).

if i may voice MY never to be humble opinion, i absolutely DETEST (=TESTED) these forum links!!! 2/3 of the time they don't work (for me) anyhow. if you have enough info to give a link, you have enough info to give a subject, topic and page number so we can go look it up for ourselves. (you also find many OTHER interesting things along the way). i ignore these messages with links for this reason but often wonder what the heck someone was talking about? i love finding myself in musty dusty old archives where no one has gone before (for a while, anyway), and finding the occasional gem. i MIGHT give a link, but i would also quote what i found or at least explain what it was. sorry. another semi ot rant. *leaves quietly*

@ Chase: It's like Adera said - sometimes you don't wanna write your opinion again and again, just because someone opened a new topic instead of using an existing one. Also it doesn't make sense to have many topics about the same idea.
The problem with the links at all: Earlier you could add "active" links. But the A-Team changed the settings and now you just can use a link when using the right mous button - if somebody makes a mistake when adding the link, he doesn't recognize it.
At least, if a topic was moved or merged the link doesn't work anymore - though it doesn't happen very often.
It's a good idea when we add a link also to give the topic and the page.

Nothing has changed since your last posting in gifting system. But we (all forum members) are still collecting all ideas and this is on the list too.

The reason, I guess, is that if man could receive gifts they could make fake girls account, sell to others fake pictures or get A$ for sex and then move the earnings to their male accounts.
