Trying to bring our protest more into the open.
Due to the horrible releases for male clothes (ban the mankini!!), Bear started a protest against the current wardrobe for men, a request to the Dev-team to make something decent: Pantless Fridays!
This is a call to everyone that would like us guys to be able to wear something decent on AChat (guys ánd girls!). Please, join our cause, strength comes in numbers and the more people that join us, the more attention we will (hopefully) get from the dev-team. Let them know you aren't happy by not wearing pants on fridays.
Also write to support and make your complaint. If we flood them with complaints, they will have to (should if they know how to run a business) do something for their customers.

I simply want the developers to provide us with some different clothes. The endless stream of "sexy" underwear is overdone they look the same..... and hardly have that sexual spark the designers are working for. Honestly... we appreciate you releasing clothes but theses don't work... Even the slutty dresses have gotten old.
Many of us want clothing options for RP... others to feel comfortable in what the Av' are wearing... With some foresight AChat can grow even better.

well Bear it was really a brilliant idea to proclaim a pantless friday....the numbers of inquiries and questions was surprisingly more i ever expected...but of course i answered all of it very friendly and professional ;)...all for the team 8) and when it goes like this it would be great when we can convince maybe one-third of the users to join our lil protest to make it bigger...i go for it to acquire some new comrade in arms ;)

Issue which peeps complain about is flashing your cock in their face... nudity can be tastefully done and doesn't have to be a full frontal... hell if you are shy you can set the pose at belt level.
You don't have to join the protest Apollo'... that's your prerogative... but a visible united stand is more effective then constant whining and griping..
We take out act into the community... because this forum is read by very few.

Someone should try to focus on giving us what we have suggested as far as men's clothing and see how the sales numbers actually would improve. It's fine to add slip designs like these in occasionally... but this constant flow... ???

The lack of clothes for males in this game is one reason I had to roll shemale. I'm not shemale and I'm straight.
I'd love to be completely honest by playing a male character. But right now it just makes you look stupid, playing a male character!
I do stand for induvidual freedom. I'd like to see more clothes for everyone. Less boring clothes and more open minded. There should be WAY more colors to choose from, like a parameter with lots of colors to choose from.

Now we get some new clothes, but again suits...
Hope there is some creativity that will avoid males now to have every weeks only new suits, of different colors and textiles !

I don't mind they bring out new suits, not at all. We've been asking for them for a very long time.. The thing is, we should have been more specific. Maybe we should have added to our request that we wanted matching shirts, vests, ties, shoes, watches, etc... Now I have a great suit, but no dress shirt. If only a plain, white shirt, top button closed, a nice tie, up to the button instead of casually loose. To make a well-dressed appareance..
Happy that our requests are heard, urging to complete the outfits with matching accesories...

Janine I started the Pantless Friday protest early in May after the long succession of mankinis, though as the numbers grew we did not start a thread till late in the month. I took 5 months for us to see results. (Yeah some think we were given unfair succession of clothing... my response.. BS we had received little as to usable wear over the past year... most mankinis were sex wear which disappeared as soon as the action initiated.. and weren't coded to use as wear in street wear for profile posing)
The switch was done little more than 3 weeks ago. You know perfectly well that changes don't occur that quickly... patience..get the numbers to grow in joining the active protest to have those on the main board voice a message of need to the support team for a change is the only way it works.
The protest doesn't work though unless you tell them WHAT YOU WANT CHANGED... I can't help you folks there
They aren't fucking mind readers.... that's why those pose development threads I have tried to urge in the various orientations are important.
USE THEM PEOPLE>>>
Don't just bitch about the lack,.. give ideas and find support for the ideas... then you get them. Dancing.. scissors,... pole dance .. the sex circle... wall sex.. those were ideas discussed here long before they showed up as products. Otherwise you end up with something like 69 and dildos again.

I didn't know where to place this, so I thought doing it here would be okay. This Friday (Feb 3) is "Heart Disease Awareness Day" in America (I don't know if this is world wide, but I hope it is) the way to show your support and awareness is to wear the color red. So... we can still go without pants but wearing something red would be great!
Since I'm here... there used to be a radio show here in New York City that had "W.O.W." which stood for "Whip 'em Out Wednesdays" LOL women were encouraged to whip out those breasts when either passing or being passed by truckers in their big trucks. Maybe we could incorporate "Whip 'em Out Wednesdays into the movement... It's just a though.

Does this mean we're going to switch our Pantless Fridays from "Better Fashions for Men" to "Trading Faces for More Embraces"?
In my opinion (not that anyone cares), I think that the campaign was a success. Not only did the originator get cowboy/girl hats, we also now have better fashions for the men (although there is still a long way to go for better men's underwear). Perhaps we should move our movement to the underwear department and see what we can accomplish there.
Personally, I would love to extend it for Boudoir Shoes (http://i1253.photobucket.com/albums/hh588/Pafe56/shoe.jpg)... but that's just me.

Yes Pafe, I agree. Of course there still are more nice clothes and underwear needed but at all it is a success. As we now have three great desinger (and perhaps get some more) we can keep the protest but change to a new important point.

Success depends on how you respond to those inquiries as to what a Pantless Friday is..

2012 was the last big organized pantless protest... you say where is the proof? well look at that comparative release I tracked,The following months after the protest saw a significant increase in FF releases, More Shemale poses. FF/FS were released simultaneously as were MF/MS releases done in conjunction. This had never happened before the protests.
Yet people listened to the naysayers.. the protests petered out.. and so did those poses.
The development team listened very well to us for years, and they will again if you approach them right. What has NEVER worked with them has been negativity.

I agree with hentai , to me its more the shoots that i screamed each time a long serie of successive pose updates was made for hétéros than the pantless friday that made them do poses . Curiously , each time i was speaking harsh ( and was supported by quasi everyone ) , we got a pose few time after .

Firstly, I don't believe that they have "listened very well for years." Certainly not recent years i.e. the two years that I have been playing. Did they listen to you? If so, good on you. Perhaps you had their ear. They don't seem to have listened to many other people.
Secondly, I really don't understand the reason for making a comment like "what has NEVER worked with them has been negativity."
Anything that you say, without going in-depth into factors that they should understand anyway, is likely to be construed as negative, by some people, when you are requesting the addition or modification of something that the game lacks.
There have been a tremendous number of requests for things that, even if they were broached in a negative way initially, have been reformulated into reasonable suggestions and then that have never materialized and I have rarely seen them expressed in other than what I would consider to be a positive way but, of course, as I have already alluded to, to some people, they could appear to be negative when it appears to them that you are effectively criticizing the game by suggesting that things are lacking.
Perhaps we are talking to the wrong people, if we really are talking to anyone at all, lol!

the pantless friday was not so useless, i think if we had tons of updates we want is more thanks to the polls we made in the last year, so i think it's mnore usefull to support that polls then do a a protest no one will notice, eccept the guys in AChat that are usually looking for fast sex in room.

I think if you are negative once, they may listen because its unusual, negative twice and you start getting the reputation of being a pain in the ass, negative 3 or more times, people shut off.
And your complaints fall on deaf ears.
I think, making a point in a fun way keeps it alive, becomes a talking point and the devs will listen and change things.
You are right, it will attract the guys or gals and in doing so spreads the word. :) More people, more power.
So get those Pants and Panties off on a Friday :)
