Title: We want your help - what do you do first in forum?
Post by: Lover on March 03, 2013, 04:56:26 PM: Some don't know the first two options but these are very helpful. First option shows each new post, second option just those topics you have posted and afterwards other members did.

Please tell us what you do and explain your reason. It's all to give us better understanding and to help you for better finding interesting topics. Thanks :)

I first click on "Show unread posts since last visit." and then I'll see old posts in my favorite forum.
I have always done it on the forums.
I also like (when I have problems/questions) the "Search" button but for me it's not always easy to find an answer!
So I post my question ;)

Post by: sexilicious on March 03, 2013, 08:16:43 PM: For me I always bring up the same page first for some reason easier to just click that website then go to main page then forum hehe so I always read the posts that I have already posted in. One reason I like to check the ones I already posted in is that I like to keep up to speed on the ones I have invested the time to put a post in. Depending on the time for being online I may move on to the unread posts after that but sometimes that just doesn't happen too often.

Have to confess up until recently i didnt even notice that there was the possiblity to "show unread posts since last visit" :-[ :-[ :-[ but sssshhhhh, i'll keep that in mind from now on :D

I usually just stop by and scroll down to the most important topics for me... such as events, stories, artist alley and creative ideas or just randomly tease people mwaahaa ;D.

Check my favourite topics, then more Babble......

personal message is the last thing i check except when i know we mods are talking of something important and where we need to hurry.....even, well, usually i am the last who answer to other mods question! teh-eh! ;D

In that regard, all the AChat gods heard was that you wanted "tarts" when you logged on and they said "there's enough of those on Achat already, what is this woman talking about?" (they were obviously listening for a change but only half-heartedly).

- It would be nice that we can make real clickable links on the forum.
- Videos also visible directly on the forum.
- A link to the forum in the game interface.

I chose number 6. Then explained what I wanted.

This topice was DEAD... no posts since March, until me. I like Nat's idea of a link between the game and the forum, so when I'm rooming with a non-chatter, I can find something else to do. lol

I can understand why there won't be any links in the forum... the unscrupulous types will be directing us to everything and anything.
Puddin pit, eh? Can we fill it with Jell-o?

1 & 2) absolutely, I've never understood why urls aren't clickable (that's c lickable, is it just my font or does click look like dick to everyone? perhaps I need glasses :) )

3) Again, a good idea. I usually have a browser up with a bookmark for funnyadult... but it would be nice to go directly to the forum from the game. Of course, you can get there from Character Editor by clicking on something that is still "buy" (lol, that rules you out then Nat) but then you still have to switch to the forum from the shop.

What i do first is look my inbox messages, but usually, no one write me :o so i first click on Show unread posts since last visit, and then i use to see unread post from my last visit.

After this, i use to see in achat whos online.

Though its not a problem to use it for collecting ideas for forum too!

Regarding the clickable links urls, we dont have the power to change it :( I also would like it and i know, it was possible in the beginning. A-Team has changed it and dont want to change it back, sorry.
Also a link between forum and game is something we have asked for frequently. I just can say, never give up... we will aks again.

I have to agree Terri... she did seem stuffy.

What I would like to see happen in the forum, besides those tarts, would be to put the "Discussion About AChat" category move near the top of the Forum. That's the place I visit first.
