I am still in learning phase with gimp.
So any advice or ideas are welcome to help me get better at this.

@ Rukya : yes, I admit this border is actually a wrong cut of the basic template. I thought it could still look nice... But you're right, it doesn't seem very realistic for a military cloth, and I now know how to correct that.

For matt colors... I should probably be able to tweak the colors carcteristics. But whatever we do, when Achat puts the clothes on, it always gets more brilliant again.

(the glitches between the legs are on the body, not on the clothes. I don't know if we all have them when on the game... They can be covered with clothing though.)

Some pixels could be corrected I see. But I'm done for today on these. depending on the comments, I'll see what I can do more tomorrow.

Indeed HB, the problem here is that I worked those on cloth bases. There are no jewelry bases diffuses we can download...
So if we would wear it as street clothing, it would be with nothing more over it.
But could be worn for sex clothes though... ;)

Yikes, where have I been that I didn't see this thread?! Nice stuff. I like the army fatigue designs, and especially love the navel piercings and chains. Great work, considering you're utilizing gimp.

Only down side like some have pointed out is the inability to have belly piercings while wearing a top. Pity. :-\

Reading this, I came to think: if ever one would wear a belly piercing...it wouldn't be to hide it under some shirt or dress, right?

So actually bras (and maybe small top?) could be worn with the belly piercing, as they can be worn under dresses and shirts too. ;D

And for wrist bands, I'll use the gloves diffuses.

Do you actually think of adding shade on the skin to show it isn't a flat jewel? Or more on the jewel itself?
Notice: on profile view, even with a height map, any cloth or object always appears flat.

As to get those belly jewels ingame... I didn't submit them to the devs yet. I want to be sure they are good enough and would please enough ppl here as they are. But even then, I wouldn't know their answer yet.
I am still working on some more models to have enough to submit to them. So they can pick up the best ones if they wish.

It could take me some more time, but I will keep you in touch here when done.

Mmmh, I thought they would have made some already. Is indeed a good idea. I wonder why the devs didn't think of it themselves.

I could try to make some yes, but I will have to be quick, and it's not sure at all they would be released on time. :-\

Maybe Marilyn and Jeanona could be faster and more efficient than me. Ask them too. ;)

Seeing there already are those bikinis, I will make those swimsuits for yet unrepresented lands.
Once the swimsuit model cut and finalized, it will be easy to decline it in various colors.

But as you can see here, it also depends on the perspective, because it is made on a cloth diffuse. Like for the rope under the breasts, it can appear a little distant from the skin when on profile view. And the lines we see between the ropes on the waist here are also due to perspective, they are not at all on my layers. Nothing to do there...

The ratio is 890 width to 640 height, I think. That is ratio, not size, so you can have them as big or as small as you like as long as you maintain the ratio (1.39:1) , otherwise they will distort. Play around with it though to get the best effect.

Actually, the other thing that would help, but not much chance of getting it from Achat, is if they gave us the 3D models to wrap the UVWs to (as opposed to having to keep loading Achat and applying them there, in order to test them out).

@Anni : yup... matching the ropes together is all about trying-testing-trying-testing... and patience indeed. Just makes it fun to me. :)

I still have to finish it for good though. I think this w-e it should be done. Elena gave me some good advice and I'll try to use them as good as I can.

@Katalouchka : the military outfit was my first try. But I take note from your suggestion and even if I lost the files (HDD destroyed), maybe I can try this again and make it better now. Once again, only time is the problem atm.
