well, for one who rarely posts, I got a few pointers to make... I always believed this forum is always very friendly and is a very good place to meet new people and friends... in regards to that, one must take notice that everyone is different here... what may appeal to another person might not necessarily appeal to you.... if you see a post or thread which you don't like, you can either ignore it and walk away or give feedback in a positive way..
in this case here, I really think its not proper to post a pic on this and say " no chance in hell" when roxxy clearly shows shes offended by that pic... that is not positive at all and doesn't seem like a post one of humor... be positive and friendly, if that doesn't work out, then please work it outside the forums by pms as brandy suggested...

Lord, I just would like to say thank you for sending your only son to die for us ALL even those who chose to admire and follow cartoon characters and or mythological creatures as their god. I thank you for you giving us free will and I thank you for caring enough for us ALL even those who don't care about you or anyone else for that matter not even themselves. THREE TREES
Once there were three trees on a hill in the woods.
They were discussing their hopes and dreams when the first tree said, "Someday I hope to be a treasure chest.
I could be filled with gold, silver and precious gems. I could be decorated with intricate carving and everyone would see the beauty."
Then the second tree said, "Someday I will be a mighty ship.
I will take kings and queens across the waters and sail to the corners of the world. Everyone will feel safe in me because of the strength of my hull."
Finally the third tree said, "I want to grow to be the tallest and straightest tree in the forest.
People will see me on top of the hill nd look up to my branches, and think of the heavens and God and how close to them I am reaching.
I will be the greatest tree of all time and people will always remember me."
After a few years of praying that their dreams would come true, a group of woodsmen came upon the trees.
When one came to the first tree he said,"This looks like a strong tree, I think I should be able to sell the wood to a carpenter" ... and he began cutting it down.
The tree was happy, because he knew that the carpenter would make him into a treasure chest.
At the second tree a woodsman said, "This looks like a strong tree, I should be able to sell it to the shipyard."
The second tree was happy. because he knew he was on his way to becoming a mighty ship.
When the woodsmen came upon the third tree, the tree was frightened because he knew that if they cut him down his dreams would not come true.
One of the woodsmen said, "I don't need anything special from my tree so I'll just take this one," and he cut it down.
When the first tree arrived at the carpenters, he was made into a feed-box for animals.
He was then placed in a barn and filled with hay. This was not at all what he had prayed for.
The second tree was cut and made into a small fishing boat.
His dreams of being a mighty ship and carrying kings had come to an end.
The third tree was cut into large pieces and left alone in the dark.
The years went by, and the trees forgot about their dreams.
Then one day a man and woman came to the barn. She gave birth and they placed the baby in the hay in the feed box that was made from the first tree.
The man wished that he could have made a crib for the baby, but this manger would have to do.
The tree could feel the importance of this event and knew that it had held the greatest treasure of all time.
Years later, a group of men got in the fishing boat made from the second tree.
One of them was tired and went to sleep. While they were out on the water a great storm arose and the tree didn't think it was strong enough to keep the men safe.
The men woke the sleeping man, and he stood and said "Peace" and the storm stopped.
At this time, the tree knew that it had carried the King of Kings in its boat.
Finally, someone came and got the third tree.
It was carried through the streets as the people mocked the man who was carrying it.
When they came to stop, the man was nailed to the tree and raised in the air to die at the top of a hill.
When Sunday came, the tree came to realize that it was strong enough to stand at the top of the hill and be as close to God as was possible, because Jesus had been crucified on it.
The moral of this story is that when things don't seem to be going your way, always know that God has a plan for you.
If you place your trust in Him, He will give you great gifts.
Each of the trees got what they wanted, just not in the way they had imagined.
We don't always know what God's plans are for us.
We just know that His ways are not our ways, but His ways are always best.

Now there's something i'd like to talk to you about at this peticular moment,
and that's about the one thing that we won't be able to do together, unless we
all become as one, and if we all become as one and then we can walk through
it together. Now i ain't walked through it all the way yet but there was a time i
walked into it and i had to go into it alone. That's this place called "The Halls of
Common".
Now when you go into The Halls of Common the way i did i don't know
it might have been halucination but i think it was real. See i felt the presence of
two energies, the positive and the negitive, of God and the Devil, however you
want it. And they was pulling and deciding and wunderin' what to do with my
soul, and i couldn't take this at this moment cause i had to come back to be with
you people, to do a thing, and i prove'd to them and bargin'd with them that i
had a thing to do for the good of all of us. Out of this bargin, for the Devil, he's
got my body for the good in his needs while i'm here on earth, and the Lord,
he's got my mind for the good of the universe, and for the good of man, and they
both, they got me in between because they both have got my soul. So the next
time i come up i want the Lord, to please,......... have mercy on my soul!
I walked through the Halls of Commons i shook hands with both the Devil and God.
They turned my eyes to the inside to see where my energies have gone. Yes i
walked with both all through my life. I respected them, reflectived them both.
Yes the sympathy of God as he looked in my life, the excitment of the Devil as he
talked. So Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on my soul!

This is something I could use for a dear friend of over 30 years
He recently had surgery for two cancerous brain tumors. Surgery removed 90% of them several weeks ago, but his most recent CT has shown the return of the cancer with a vengeance. The DRs. have said there is nothing more they can do for him at this time and his wife has brought him home to be with his family.
This is a man of GOD that has 2 sons of his own and has fostered countless other troubled young children. He went to the woman's prison where he lived every Sunday to preach and bring hope to those that needed it.
I had the pleasure of spending my military career as a roommate with this great man for many years.
Please send any prayers and loving thoughts his way in Texas.

BRICK
A young and successful
executive was traveling down a neighborhood street,
going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar.. He was
watching for kids darting out from between parked
cars and slowed down when he thought he saw
something.
As his car passed, no children appeared.
Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!
He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back to

know what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw the
brick because no one else would stop....' With tears
dripping down his face and off his chin, the youth
pointed to a spot just around a parked car.. 'It's my
brother, 'he said 'He rolled off the curb and fell
out of his wheelchair and I can't lift him
up.'
Now sobbing, the boy
asked the stunned executive, 'Would you please help
me get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt and
he's too heavy for me.'
Moved beyond words,
the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swelling
lump in his throat... He hurriedly lifted the
handicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then took
out a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the fresh
scrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everything
was going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God bless
you,' the grateful child told the stranger. Too
shook up for words, the man simply watched the boy!

It was a long, slow
walk back to the Jaguar. The damage was very
noticeable, but the driver never bothered to repair
the dented side door. He kept the dent there to
remind him of this message: 'Don't go through life
so fast that someone has to throw a brick at you to
get your attention!' God whispers in our souls and
speaks to our hearts Sometimes when we don't have
time to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It's
our choice to listen or
not.

This is something I could use for a dear friend of over 30 years
He recently had surgery for two cancerous brain tumors. Surgery removed 90% of them several weeks ago, but his most recent CT has shown the return of the cancer with a vengeance. The DRs. have said there is nothing more they can do for him at this time and his wife has brought him home to be with his family.
This is a man of GOD that has 2 sons of his own and has fostered countless other troubled young children. He went to the woman's prison where he lived every Sunday to preach and bring hope to those that needed it.
I had the pleasure of spending my military career as a roommate with this great man for many years.
Please send any prayers and loving thoughts his way in Texas.

A Prayer for Hope
Heavenly father, I am your humble servant, I come before you today in need of hope. There are times when I fell helpless, There are times when I feel weak. I pray for hope. I need hope for a better future. I need hope for a better life. I need hope for love and kindness.

This is my nephew ... he is currently in High Dependency unit and is extremely poorly ..his mum , my sister fears his tiny body is getting tired now and keeps preparing for the worst .. At present she and her husband are with him and visiting is seriously restricted due to high risk of further infection ... I just wanted to Prayer for my amazing little warrior ... Prayer for Strength
to forgive others
Almighty Father,
I pray for forgiveness and that You give me the strength to forgive others; I pray also that You forgive them for their stubborness.
I humbly ask You for Strength to deal with the current situation I face, my future being so unsure makes my head and my heart ache and sometimes pride creeps in where Love should be. I pray that You soften the heart of others and make them realize how their actions affect our lives and that the people they listen to do not have their interest at heart. I
pray that they return to the family and conquer their ignorance and pride.

In All Things Give Thanks

Key Scripture:
1 Thessalonians 5:18: “ In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
1 Peter 4:16: “Yet, if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.
What are some things that you give thanks for? When you think about your life, in what areas of your life are you grateful?
What do you think you should give thanks for? Should you give thanks for the good things of life only, or should you also give thanks for the bad? The Bible has a lot to say when it comes to giving thanks.
Point Number One : The Easy Answer:
Of course, we should always be thankful for the blessings and good things that come into our lives. Every book in the Bible speaks of the need for giving thanks to God for the good times, for the blessings, and for the good things we receive. The Book of James states that every good and perfect gift is from above, from God the Father (James 1:17). We all probably know someone who is an ingrate?
Do you know that word, ingrate? An ingrate is someone – no matter what he or she receives, be it good or bad – who does not say “Thank you” and is basically ungrateful, unthankful for anything and everything. If you look at many of today’s celebrities, many of them are truly ingrates. They think that everything is theirs to enjoy, and even when someone gives them something, they never say thank you. God. However, instructs his followers to behave differently. His Word speaks that we should give thanks for every good thing we receive. This shows that we are truly grateful.
This should be especially so when we think of the price that Jesus Christ paid on the cross. For you who are a Christian, how often do you say “Thank you!” to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness he has given you? Do you truly understand what Jesus Christ did, what he gave up, so that you and I could be saved from a fiery eternity? When we think of Jesus Christ, when we think of the price He paid on the cross for our sins, and if we have received Jesus into our hearts and lives, we must be thankful.
We can never repay him for what he has done for us. The best way to be grateful is to give yourself to Jesus, and to live for him completely.. It’s also good to thank him for his gift of eternal life when we pray. We need to give thanks for the good things, and for the ultimate gift of eternal life.
Point Number Two : Thank You for Punching Me!
We know that we ought to be thankful for the good things we receive, but how about the bad times? Should we be thankful in hard, bad times? If you have some terrible thing happen, do you say thank you to God for it? If someone steals your money, or you are hit by the driver of another car, are you grateful? Maybe you think that these words are crazy, but consider today’s verse from 1 Thessalonians 5:18. God says through Paul to be thankful in all things. How is this possible?
How can we be thankful in all things? Think about Job. Do you know this person? Have you read the book of Job? Besides Jesus Christ, nobody in the Bible suffered worse than Job. He lost all his goods, lost his family, his home, and even his health. His wife turned against him, and his children were killed. Even his friends, when they came to comfort and help him ended up criticizing him. But in spite of all of this, job praised the Lord, and even thanked him for the hard times. Listen to his words to his wife; Job’s wife told him to “curse God and die” but Job, instead, said this:
“Shall we receive Good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?” (Job 2:10).
In another part of the book, Job also said this:
“The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord” ( Job 1:21).
How is this possible? How can someone, who had his home, his life, his possessions, his health, and everything else taken away say these things? How can a father and husband who saw his children killed, and watched his wife walk away from him lift his head and his hands and praise the Lord for it all?
When bad times, hard times happen to people around you, what are other peoples’ attitudes? When tragedy or hardships strike you, what kind of spirit do you have? It is hard to have a grateful heart in hard times, and yes, it is also hard to have a positive attitude when tragedy strikes, but this is what God says. Consider the words of Job and the words of Jesus Christ. When Jesus was crucified, he did not complain. Instead, he said “Father, forgive…”
It is important to give thanks when we go through hard times as well as blessings.
Point Number Three: What Doesn’t Kill a Person Makes Him or Her Stronger
One of the reasons that we should give thanks even in the hard times is because strength comes from the hard times. Think about a sport that you enjoy. My favorite sport is weight lifting. My coaches in weight lifting always taught that the muscles of the human body grow stronger when they are broken down. This breaking down comes through the hard, tough training of lifting. It’s the same for any sport, or for any study, for that matter. Hard work, hard training, and hard study produce great results later. It is the same with the formation of a diamond. What is a diamond? How is it made?
Do you know what a diamond really is? A diamond is really just a lump of coal. The difference, though, between a diamond and coal is that the diamond has gone through long, hard, hot, and intense pressure. A diamond is formed by way of pressure, heat, and time. Some scientists say that it takes 1,000 or more years for a diamond to form. During that time, it is going through intense heat, pressure, and difficulty.
In the same way, God tests us. Job was tested by God. In the end, with God’s help, Job proved himself faithful, and Job was doubly rewarded in the end. In the same way, we, too, will grow stronger, and receive a great reward from God if we hold true to Him, and are thankful for the hard times. One of the greatest rewards is being identified with Jesus Christ, and when we suffer, all the while being thankful, we are taking Christ’s attitude, and people will see it! Later, we will be able to help others because of the strength that God gave us because of the hard times. The hard times we go through make us stronger.
Point Number Four: Praise God and Give the Devil a Black Eye
The last reason we need to be thankful for hard times is because of the enemy. Though God allows hard times to come, it is the devil that brings hard times. Job chapters 1 and 2 show clearly that the devil brings hard times upon everyone, especially followers of Jesus Christ. The reason God allows the hard times is to make us stronger, but the devil brings the hard times so that we will “curse (God) to (his) face” (Job 1:11, Job 2:5).
The devil wants us to turn away from God, grumble, complain, whine, and eventually turn against him. Have you ever heard someone say “Why is God doing this to me?” or “Where is God in my trouble?” This is why the devil brings trouble. Think about the children of Israel when Moses led them out of Egypt. How often in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy do the children of Israel grumble and complain about the hardships of their travel to the Promised Land?
How often did they accuse Moses and God of “brining us to the desert to die?” What happened to these ungrateful children of Israel? Instead of taking a trip that was about a year or two at most, the grumbling and complaining of the children of Israel resulted in them wandering in the desert for 40 years.
This is what the devil wants from us! He wants us to turn from God, to complain, to “curse (God) to (hid) face” and die. But when we praise God in the face of hard times, we do something to the devil that is like punching him in the eye. The devil wants us to complain, but when we praise God for the hard times, instead of curse him, we stop the devil in his tracks. Praising God in the hard times instead of cursing him proves the devil a liar. In the hard times, Praise God (don’t curse him), because it helps to defeat the devil.
Conclusion: Are You Going Through Hard Times?
Are you having a tough time right now? If you are, what kind of attitude do you have? Is it a good attitude, one of thanks and praise to God, or are you ungrateful, cursing and complaining to God, blaming him, and ignoring the test? It is hard to go through tough times and have a good attitude. We can do it if we go on the strength of the LORD. Alone, we will become bitter, hard, ungrateful, and, in the end, in a place where God doesn’t want us to be. Let’s pray…
Prayer
I pray, today, O LORD, for anyone who is reading this who is going through some hard times. For those who know you not, Father, I pray that they will come to know you, in spite of the hard times, and that they will see this as the day in which they came to know you. We pray for the believer, father, the brother and sister who may be going through a hard spot or a tough time. We pray, LORD, that you will comfort them in the hard times, and strengthen them, helping them to rejoice despite the pain, and praise you, in the face of the hurt. We pray all of this in the saving Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

say the salvation prayer
then you most confess your sins to god
this will set you free

Take Jesus as your Lord

Dealing with difficult people not only tests our faith in God, but it also puts our witness on display. One biblical figure who responded well to difficult people was David, who triumphed over many offensive characters to become king of Israel.
When he was only a teenager, David encountered one of the most intimidating types of difficult people—the bully. Bullies can be found in the workplace, at home, and in schools, and they usually frighten us with their physical strength, authority, or some other advantage.
Goliath was a giant Philistine warrior who had terrorized the entire Israelite army with his size and his skill as a fighter. No one dared to meet this bully in combat, until David showed up.
Before facing Goliath, David had to deal with a critic, his own brother Eliab, who said:
"I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle." (1 Samuel 17:28, NIV)
David ignored this critic because what Eliab said was a lie. That's a good lesson for us. Turning his attention back to Goliath, David saw through the giant's taunts. Even as a young shepherd, David understood what it meant to be a servant of God:
"All those here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give all of you into our hands." (1 Samuel 17:47, NIV).
While we should not respond to bullies by hitting them in the head with a rock, we should remember that our strength is not in ourselves, but in the God who loves us. This can give us confidence to endure when our own resources are low.
Dealing with Difficult People: Time to Flee
Fighting a bully is not always the right course of action. Later, King Saul turned into a bully and chased David throughout the country, because Saul was jealous of him.
David chose to flee. Saul was the rightfully appointed king, and David would not battle him. He told Saul:
"And may the Lord avenge the wrongs you have done to me, but my hand will not touch you. As the old saying goes, 'From evildoers come evil deeds, so my hand will not touch you.' "(1 Samuel 24:12-13, NIV)
At times we must flee from a bully in the workplace, on the street, or in an abusive relationship. This is not cowardice. It's wise to retreat when we are unable to protect ourselves. Trusting God to exact justice takes great faith, which David had. He knew when to act himself, and when to flee and turn the matter over to the Lord.
Dealing with Difficult People: Coping with the Angry
Later in David's life, the Amalekites had attacked the village of Ziklag, carrying off the wives and children of David's army. Scripture says David and his men wept until they had no strength left.
Understandably the men were angry, but instead of being mad at the Amalekites, they blamed David:
"David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters." (1 Samuel 30:6, NIV)
Often people take their anger out on us. Sometimes we deserve it, in which case an apology is needed, but usually the difficult person is frustrated in general and we are the handiest target. Striking back is not the solution:
"But David strengthened himself in the LORD his God." (1 Samuel 30:6, NASB)
Turning to God when we're attacked by an angry person gives us understanding, patience, and most of all, courage. Some suggest taking a deep breath or counting to ten, but the real answer is saying a quick prayer. David asked God what to do, was told to pursue the kidnappers, and he and his men rescued their families.
Dealing with angry people tests our witness. People are watching. We can lose our temper as well, or we can respond calmly and with love. David succeeded because he turned to the One stronger and wiser than himself. We can learn from his example.
Dealing with Difficult People: Looking in the Mirror
The most difficult person each of us has to deal with is our self. If we are honest enough to admit it, we cause ourselves more trouble than others do.
David was no different. He committed adultery with Bathsheba, then had her husband Uriah killed. When confronted with his crimes by Nathan the prophet, David admitted:
"I have sinned against the Lord." (2 Samuel 12:13, NIV)
At times we need the help of a pastor or godly friend to help us see our situation clearly. In other cases, when we humbly ask God to show us the reason for our misery, he gently directs us to look in the mirror.
Then we need to do what David did: confess our sin to God and repent, knowing he always forgives and takes us back.
David had many faults, but he was the only person in the Bible God called "a man after my own heart." (Acts 13:22, NIV) Why? Because David depended completely on God to direct his life, including dealing with difficult people.
We can't control difficult people and we can't change them, but with God's guidance we can understand them better and find a way to cope with them.

if we don't do this we hold in a lot and never will be free , we will be always be holding on to hurt and pain holding on to feelings & Emotions

I want to admit I been doing this prayer spirit warfare
( Spiritual warfare is the Christian version
of the concept of taking a stand against preternatural evil forces.
The foundation for this ideology is having a belief in

in my life seen something like this its like I keep getting blessing after Blassing with prayer
and ofc my faith in GOD

Spiritual warfare
some things to think about
There are some believers who falsely believe that if they have a lot of faith they will not undergo any suffering, severe tests or satanic attacks. Nothing could be further from the truth! Actually, the opposite is true.
For example, in the book of Job chapters 1 and 2, God actually asks Satan if he considered His servant Job. Hence, God brought Job to Satan's attention, not because Job was in sin, but because Job was the greatest servant of God on the earth at that time (read Job 1:6-12; 2:3-6).
Furthermore, Acts 19:15 illustrates how Paul the apostle was not only known in heaven, but also in hell! He had their attention! First Peter 5:8-9 teaches that Satan roams the earth seeking someone to devour, which also goes along with the Job narrative (Job 1:7). When we read the context of all these passages, especially in regards to the satanic focus on both Paul and Job, we can come to the conclusion that the devil's main focus is to thwart, divert, distract and disarm the servants of God who are promoting the rule of God on the earth as it is in heaven. Heaven is the only realm in the universe where everything is perfectly aligned under King Jesus, since the devil was displaced from there (Rev. 12:7-12).
Consequently, when someone on earth wants to bring the influence of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven, Satan erupts with fear and anger against them since he doesn't want to be thrown out of another place!
This is why it seems as though a person following the will of God will sometimes have the most difficult tests, trials and resistance, as opposed to some saints who are casual seekers of God. Satan is no dummy, why should he attack a Christian who is a bad example to others and who is already deceived and in his grip? He will focus the most on those who are the biggest threats to his desire, to do a power grab from God over the earth realm! Remember: God gave Adam a commission to have His rule over the whole earth (Gen. 1:28), and immediately after that the devil came and convinced both Adam and Eve to disobey God and abandon their posts as God's vice regents over the earth (Gen. 3:1-8).
Since that time Satan has been jealously attempting to protect his control over the earthly realm he stole through subverting Adam, including its systems of government, commerce, media, the arts, science and education. Those who attempt to bring God's influence in these realms will most likely experience some of the highest levels of satanic resistance. The apostle Paul had a messenger from Satan follow him everywhere he went that caused riots and persecutions (2 Cor. 13:1-8), only because he was turning the present world system upside down (Acts 17:7).
So, if you are sold out for God, don't be discouraged when you are attacked or allow yourself to be deceived into thinking that the only reason you are in intense spiritual warfare or tribulation is because you may have missed God. It may be the opposite. You are being targeted because you are hitting the divine bull's eye! This is why Paul admonished believers to stand strong in the Lord: "Our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities, powers and the rulers of darkness in high places" (Ephesians 6:10-13). Notice: Paul said "our struggle" meaning he was including himself in this struggle. Every time there was an open door for ministry he had many adversaries. This is a biblical principle (read 1 Corinthians 16:9).
Do not ever think that just because God is calling you to do something that it will be easy. Jesus did the will of God and He was crucified, and church history tells us Paul was beheaded! It's not how many years we live, but what we do with the years we live that matters!
So, what do we do when we are in a time of spiritual warfare that Paul calls "the day of evil" in Ephesians 6:13? Paul tells us in this passage to be strong in the Lord and to stand firm; in other words, do not quit (Eph. 6:10-13).
The apostle Peter also tells us to resist the devil, standing firm in the faith (1 Pet. 5:9). Peter knows firsthand that faith in God is the key to standing firm in the midst of the day of evil because, when he denied Christ three times, Jesus prayed for him that his "faith" would not fail (Luke 22:31-32).
So, do not be afraid when you are in tribulation, because Jesus has already overcome the world (John 16:33)!

at times I forget to seek GOD and let him have control ..Why is it we only go to him when we are lost ..
I myself know this I have the answer to what ever question I may have but there are some I am still growing on
I am thankful for all the challenging times in my My life ...it only takes a few mints to go to my Lord and spend time with him

Really do not understand the reasoning for positive Christian influence in Achat. Though its available to anyone who wishes and truthfully I am no judge. As far as sex and the bible if you really wish to go there. And these are words from the Bible not translations by me. Really do not understand the reasoning for positive Christian influence in Achat. Though its available to anyone who wishes and truthfully I am no judge. As far as sex and the bible if you really wish to go there. And these are words from the Bible not translations by me. Though in relation to sex and how Christians should live by the Bible perspective of it. Most things found would speak out against using Achat if one is a Christian. I could not think of a verse or set of verses that would honestly defend using Achat as a Christian. So those who know any can post, if they should exist.
