I was sitting in my History class today and my teacher is giving the class the lecture about history. He was talking about how the history before America is important. That America's history helps you understand what is going on today. It's like missing the first 20 minutes of a movie, you wouldn't understand it if you missed the first part. You wouldn't get the rest of the movie.
This lesson can be used as you meet people. Without someone's past history, you'll never understand why that person is that way, or why they act like that... I just thought of all those people judged and how many people judge me.
No one really knows who a person is until you really get to know them do they? We get judged all the time for just the way we act, and the way we look. We are called names and rumours spread, about us, and it's not what they say that annoys me, it's that they say stuff in general.
None of those people know the real me, no matter what they think. The people that really know me love my crazy side and my strange qualities. They know my past and understand me as a person. They don't judge. I hate when these people think they know me just by looking at me. I have been through things that created the person i am today. I don't cringe away from my history, no matter good or bad. People can't shame me about it either, and before you decide to look at a person and decide that getting to know them is not worth your time, think about the things that they might've been through.
I always try to get to know a person, before i decide to brush them off. A persons past is very important in who they are. Someone’s history is important. Wow, history does teach you things. Others history teaches you something. Your history teaches you something. Just remember that next time you label someone :D

I see their message of experience and tolerance
What does it take, to possess wisdom n understanding
Is it knowledge or experience? Why is it so demanding
To think outside your box, see something you have not
Look inside your heart, feel the human not the robot
We each choose how we want to see our World
To see the GOOD or the BAD as life's sail unfurls
So once again, I look deep inside, I look there to see
How can I judge others, how could they judge me?

As the curtains close on another year and the holidays approach..... I am reminded of what is important and why.
In a WORLD that keeps our attention prisoner by constant distraction. Where “want” is often confused for “need” and material gifts appear to dazzle more than personal ones.
During a HOLIDAY that has become far too associated with the giving of “things” instead of “ourselves”. Where cost is confused with value n meaning…..

They brought balloons to a school.
One was given to every student, who had to inflate it, write their name on it and throw it in the hallway.
The professors then mixed all the balloons.
The students were given 5 minutes to find their own balloon. Despite a hectic search, no one found their balloon
At that point the professors told the students to take the first balloon that they found and hand it to the person whose name was written on it.

A little something to ponder...
I asked one of my friends who has crossed 70 & is heading to 80 what sort of changes he is feeling in himself?
He sent me the following very interesting lines, which I would like to share with you ....
#1 After loving my parents, my siblings, my spouse, my children, my friends, now I have started loving myself.
#2 I just realized that I am not “Atlas”. The world does not rest on my shoulders.
#3 I now stopped bargaining with vegetables & fruits vendors. A few pennies more is not going to burn a hole in my pocket but it might help the poor fellow save for his daughter’s school fees.
#4 I pay my waitress a big tip. The extra money might bring a smile to her face. She is toiling much harder for a living than me
#5 I stopped telling the elderly that they've already narrated that story many times. The story makes them walk down the memory lane & relive the past.
#6 I have learned not to correct people even when I know they are wrong. The onus of making everyone perfect is not on me. Peace is more precious than perfection.
#7 I give compliments freely & generously. Compliments are a mood enhancer not only for the recipient, but also for me. And a small tip for the recipient of a compliment, never, NEVER turn it down, just say "Thank You"
#8 I have learned not to bother about a crease or a spot on my shirt. Personality speaks louder than appearances.
#9 I walk away from people who don't value me. They might not know my worth, but I do.
#10 I remain cool when someone plays dirty to outrun me in the rat race. I am not a rat & neither am I in any race.
#11 I am learning not to be embarrassed by my emotions. It’s my emotions that make me human.
#12 I have learned that it's better to drop the ego than to break a relationship. My ego will keep me aloof, whereas with relationships I will never be alone.
#13 I have learned to live each day as if it's the last. After all, it might be the last.
#14 I am doing what makes me happy. I am responsible for my happiness, and I owe it to myself. Happiness is a choice. You can be happy at any time, just choose to be!
Why do we have to wait to be 70 or 80, why can't we practice this at any stage and age....

If you look up into the sky this evening, and the sky is clear enough, you should be able to view the planet Mars and a cluster of stars known as The Pleiades, or Seven Sisters, in their closest conjuction since 1991.
The two won't be near this close again until 2036.
No matter where you live worldwide, look for Mars and the Pleiades at nightfall and early evening, for that’s when the twosome is highest up for the night. Mars and the Pleiades sink westward as evening deepens into late night, so it might be best to spot the close encounter at early evening. The celestial couple stays out until around midnight at mid-northern latitudes, or mid-evening at temperate latitudes in the Southern Hemisphere.

The Pleiades is easy to recognize with its diminutive size and dipper-like shape.
To locate the Pleiades, look for three medium-bright stars in a short, straight row: the easy-to-spot Belt of Orion, the Hunter. You can star-hop from Orion’s Belt stars – through Aldebaran – to Mars and the Pleiades.
It’s easy to distinguish Mars from Aldebaran, by the way, despite the similarity between the planet and star in color and brightness. That’s because the red “star” appearing much closer to the Pleiades star cluster is none other than Mars.

If you have binoculars Mars and the Pleiades cluster should fit within a binocular field for at least several days, if not close to a week. If you’ve never viewed the Pleiades cluster through binoculars, you’re missing out on one of the sky’s most magnificent treasures. Most people can see six Pleiades stars with the eye alone, but binoculars dramatically increase the number of Pleiades stars that you can see.
