Whenever I try to start the program it says "Could not initialize display". What can I do?

AChat needs a 3D capable graphics card (or chipset) in your computer. Do you know, what kind of graphics card has your computer?

Thanks for answering. No, I don't know that. But I can see the 3d preview properly on the Achat homepage. How can I get to know about my graphics card and  wether it is 3d capable?

Did you try a complete restart of your comp?
How old is it? Which software is running - is it a mac, a linux or windows-based system?

I get that error in windows 7 when i forget to run as admin (which i set in the properties to always do now)
