Chuckles at the posts ......
But time to get semi serious .... That twenty pixels difference has a big effect on  the art work .. Most siggy blocks are 200 high by 650 or 700 pixels wide ... I like mine to be a 100 as a minimum.

It's up to the people that run the boards though. I have given you all my reasons for being the size they are in the end though I can make images as small or as large as you like.

I understand your view Richard. Just try to imagine 15 posts, each with a big banner and you're scrolling the page. What if we use small banner here and start a new topic with big banners for everyone?
We could use "Introduce yourself" and everyone can add a big banner in his post.
