Hiya's…

I had problems running AChat in the beginning, also. Crashes and not getting updates. What I did was re-installed the program. I just used the set up that I had already downloaded, and let the program re-write over all the old files. I have not had any problems since I did that (knock on wood). Perhaps you could give that a try. It didn't cost me anything other than a little time.
