It is certainly coming along.

Looking good, Lover, perhaps a bit too lively for my taste, but that is just me.

That looks fantastic, Rukya.

I will have a play around with the design, if anything nice looking comes out of it I shall post it.

Always interested to hear peoples opinions, HB.

Were you thinking raggedy (like the elf skirt), or something a bit smoother?

I did experiment slightly with a web bottom, and didn't like it, but perhaps I should try that again?

I'm not sure Belle... the web is too large. What if the dress is bit longer/higher at the top?

I could reduce the size of the web, and have strands coming off the web.  That might look quite nice.

I'll have a play around with it later.

Well, here we are, the male elf finished.  I'm not really that happy with it, but first attempt at male clothing, so I suppose it's ok.

The red & white striped top isn't too bad, and could be good for "where's wally" fantasies, and who doesn't like that idea? lol

First of all you need to 'host' the image somewhere.  I have been using postimage.org without problems.

Then, when you are posting to the Bar & Grill, look at the buttons above the section where you type.

Look at the second row of buttons, and hold the mouse over the second one from the left.  You will see the text 'Insert Image'.  Click that button, and two sets of square brackets will appear with 'img' in each one.  Paste the address of your picture between the two sets of brackets.

So, it will look something like this ... [ IMG ] paste your picture address here [ /IMG ]

Hope this helps !

I think that we might need another clue, Lover!

Gimme all your lovin, all your hugs and kisses too

Gimme All Your Lovin - ZZ TOP?

I think you have the right song, but not the correct third line.  That is the tricky part of the game (well, unless you google it, which is cheating really).

A nice solution to the straps problem, Lover.

Is this the real life?

Quizz, Fav TV, Fav Music, Fav Films, Books... / The third line game ...
« on: October 14, 2012, 01:29:22 AM »
Don't know if anyone's interested in this (it could just be me!), but I like to play this game.

It starts with the first line from a song, and the players have to supply the THIRD line.

So, for example;

If I started with 'I was a sailor, I was lost at sea'.

the answer I would be after is 'I was a fighter, I could turn on a thread', being the third line of 'When love comes to town'

i.e.

I was a sailor, I was lost at sea,
I was under the waves before love rescued me.
I was a fighter, I could turn on a thread,

What is actually a 'line' in a song may be open to debate, but it should be obvious when someone knows the answer, so a little flexibility may be given.

When no-one has the answer, a clue may be given with a word from the second line, or a clue to the song.

Like the anagram thread, correct guesser sets the next one.

Anyway, I'll start one off, if anyone wants to play feel free.

Needs a bit of work yet, but how about a male elf for that naughty Ms Santa?

Not the same as yours Lover, but with a bit of experimentation I was able to come up with this.

Might be useful as a starting point?
