Am I the only one that's entered one of the public areas to find themselves trapped in a mass of idiots all standing chatting in the spawn point?
Twice last night I entered Amsterdam to be unable to move, trapped in a mass of avatars. It seems that since Achat was made a free entry game there are far too many inconsiderate and ignorant people using the site.
Add to this the seemingly total lack of any input or support from the Ateam, the increasing number of bugs and glitches and the influx of minors into the game and it will soon be nothing more than a free for all log in, fuck, log out site. Which would be a crying shame considering the once vibrant, friendly and happy Community that Achat used to be.
Fond memories and loyalty will only keep some people here for so long until they leave for pastures new.

This thread is for myself and Her Grace, Lady Snowball Basketcase-Slutpuppy The First, to do what we love to do......bounce music off of, between, behind, above and around each other. We rarely get to be online at rhe same time...her International Jet-Set lifestyle and the black pudding stall she runs in the sleepy little village of Nibbling-On-The-Minge taking up far too much of her time. Please, bear with us.....dive in and listen to the (mostly) melodic tangents we send each other spinning away on. Hopefully there'll be something that grabs you and sends you off on an exploration......Clinton Fearon -- Richman Poormanhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAZx3TxilnQ

This is what this thread should have been from the start. For my mind and soul mate. My sparring partner. My joy. Never present but always in my heart and on my mind. Even ten minutes with you is worth more than an eternity with anyone else.

Would any of the Achat jewellery/clothes designers be interested in creating some BDSM triskellion items for the shop? I'm sure that the products would fly off the shelves. Maybe even clothing incorporating the design?
Something along the lines of the pendant below maybe....I hope some of you talented folks will take this up.

Do you remember your first crush on someone? Could have been someone famous, someone you knew...or someone you didn't but wanted to. Care to share?
My first crush was on my English teacher when I was, I think, 14. She was about 30 and was quite tall, slim and was always very smartly dressed and wore glasses. (Maybe that's where my thing for girls with glasses started...?). English was my favourite subject, and she encouraged my interest, suggesting books for me to discover and suggesting side projects to help my understanding, which made me feel special. Over perhaps a couple of months I was trying to find any excuse to spend even a few extra minutes talking with her. God only knows what she thought of me, but she was always helpful and kind and gave me a love of English that I still have. She always smelled wonderful...made me think of sunshine on a meadow. She left in the second year she was my teacher to take another post at a school in Northern England. I remember her last day, I couldn't stop crying. My teen anguish didn't last long though...it was only a week or so before I'd almost forgotten her and transferred my attention to one of the Upper Sixth girls.
Teenagers, eh? Sheesh...bloody nightmare!!!

This thread is for you to share songs that touch you...have some meaning for you. They may be songs that inspire you to an action, to get involved with a cause, want to make a difference, or just pick up the phone to reach a friend or loved one. Songs that awaken a memory of some person or event that you treasure. Songs that make you jump around the room or bring a tear of joy, pain or remembrance. We all have a piece of music that has a place in our hearts. I'd like to share some of mine with you. If you would be kind enough to open your heart and share yours, I'd be grateful and very honoured.
I'll start the thread with what I think is a really beautiful song about the horrible disease, Alzheimers. My Grandfather suffered from this curse that slowly takes the person you know and love from you. I'm not ashamed to tell you that I both cry and smile every time I hear it. I think it's a wonderfully tender and thoughtful observation of an awful disease and is beautifully written and performed.
This song was written by Marianne Sveen and inspired by Marianne's time as a nurse looking after a patient with Alzheimer's. She explained to The Mail On Sunday's You magazine that the lady's past was a mystery, and she seemingly had no family, "but when I put on music for her, she always tapped her feet in time and smiled. I used to invent my own stories about her, hoping that they were close to the truth."
This is "Lady Grey" by Katzenjammer

Lady Grey Katzenjammer
Lady Grey, you tell a smile What is your secret, what's your lie? You lived a long, hard life Your memory may fade, but you're still wise I wonder where you've been What you've accomplished, what you've seen In such a long, hard life Did you ever dance, were you someone's wife?
Take me, take me away Way back to the days when you were Crazy, crazy for living Oh, sweet twenty-nine And you looked fine You looked fine
Lady Grey, dressed up so nice Where do you go when you close your eyes? Do you hear the words I say And can you remember yesterday? What do you comprehend? Can you even feel me in your head? Lady Grey, with your knockout smile Hoping you feel it was worth the while
Take me, take me away Way back to the days when you were Crazy, crazy for living Oh sweet twenty-nine And you looked fine
Lady Grey, no doubt that time Has withered your hands, but still your smile Is as sparkling as way back when You broke the hearts of all young men Lady Grey, when I see you now Sick in your bed, but still you smile When you hear the music play Wonder how it would be if you could...
Take me, take me away Way back to the days when you were Crazy, crazy for living Oh, sweet twenty-nine And you looked fine
Katzenjammer are a female four-piece from Oslo, Norway comprising Solveig Heilo, Marianne Sveen, Turid Jørgensen and Anne Marit Bergheim. They took their name from the American cartoon strip The Katzenjammer Kids, which was first created by the German immigrant Rudolph Dirks in 1897 and is still popular in Scandinavia. Dirks was the first cartoonist to express dialogue in comic characters through the use of speech balloons. The line up has changed since "Lady Grey". Marianne left the band in 2016 to pursue her own projects.

This quiz was originally posted by Lover a long time ago. I thought perhaps it may be interesting to try to breathe life back into it as I like the idea. I hope you all do too. I'll let Lover explain the rules...
As I wrote to sinnnn's new game idea & to the masked ball, I got a new idea. What about a little quizz? The rules: - I start this quizz, giving a short quote of a film or a song. - The firts who gives the right answer is allowed to start the new round - If there are some wrong or none answers we give a tipp
Example: "A band is blowing Dixie double four time, you feel alright when you hear that music ring."
The asnwer is "Sultans of Swing" Dire Straits. [/size]So...there you have it. When an answer gets the thumbs up from the previous poster, it's their turn to set the question. I'll kick things off with this.... Which 1978 film based on a stage play with the same title are the following lyrics from? It's my world that I want to have a little pride in My world and it's not a place I have to hide in
