The 'King of the Blues' guitarist and singer, BB King, has died aged 89

King, known for his hits Lucille, Sweet Black Angel and Rock Me Baby, died in his sleep in Las Vegas.

Born in Mississippi, King began performing in the 1940s. He went on to influence a generation of musicians, working with Eric Clapton and U2.
Once ranked as the third greatest guitarist of all time, he had been suffering ill health in recent months.

He was recently taken to hospital with a diabetes-related illness.

A former farmhand, King was awarded his 15th Grammy award in 2009 for his album One Kind Favor.
He was also inducted into both the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Rolling Stone magazine placed him behind only Jimi Hendrix and Duane Allman in its list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.

Until recently, King performed in at least 100 concerts a year.

When i'm browsing the web, i find from time to time pics of people that did weired stuf to their body. Those kind you think, damn what where they thinking when they did that, or will they regret that later on in live.

Hello my name is Martin, but i am known in the game and on this forum as mrsexlover.

After some distrubing news this week that something bad had happend irl to a spouse i have here on Achat, (still don't know all the details wich keeps me worried) i was not in the mood to room, but i needed to be busy to stop me from going mad because i could not do much for her from the otherside of the connection.

Then is saw the post from Richard_Wolf about banners and i thought "maybe i need to give that a trie"

So i went on and got experimenting with it and went for the 750 * 90 pixel size.

The first two i made where not that great in my opinion





as you can see they where even the wrong size, then with the 3th attempt i got luck and struck gold, and made the one i'm using now



and after i showed it in Ricard's post i got some complimants, and a friend asked me to make one for him, it took some attempts to find the right layout, the first two where even without text because he had decided what to put on.





As you might have guessed by now it was my good friend Tangoracer, and with the next two i made he could not deside wich on to use so he asked the forum for there opinion.





Also Brandybee came along to ask me to make the poster for the erotic story contest because she had seen my banner and the poster i made for the new band.

This all kept me occupied the first few days of this week.

Today is a special day for the kingdom of the Netherlands.

After 33 years being our Queen, Queen Beatrix steped down to make room for her son Willem Alexander.

So now we have a new King Willem Alexander and his wife Maxima is our new Queen   :D
