Share your creative ideas / Suggestion: Group chat
« on: April 30, 2012, 06:19:36 AM »
Came across this when preparing another threesome groupsex invitation, because was often wishing that this feature would exist.

First .. what i did:
- Talked to a partner and came across the threesome idea
- partner told me that she/he has another one in chat who likes to join us.
- I add my chatpartner to groupsex members
- I ask the chatpartner for the other's name.. search her/ him ad add him to the Threesome group as well
-then i switch the chat to the new groupsex member and tell her/him "[First chatpartner]told me you are interested in a threesome, i will invite you soon"
- then I swich back to [First chatpartner] . .telling him that [Second chatpartner]agreed and that i am going to invite soon.
- then i Do the invitation.
- Treesome starts.. if i use the chat now both partners can read it.

Now.. what i wish  :o :
-when you add people to the Groupsex group you can click a button "Invite all" to invite the others to your room. From that point you chat to all in the group
- it would be nice to add a feature & button "chat with all" to modify your chat to talk to both partners that are selected to join the room later on (the chat becomes available after you enter the room - i like to have it before we enter) and maybe .. after we left the room.. i often talk to both partners after we left.
- if i once chatted to the group (before entering the room) anyone who received the message should be also able to select the "Groupsex" Group to which the message was sent as a chatpartner.

I would love this Feature to be implemented - I hate this switching and chatting to 2 different partners that join a chat group later on - the eature is already there but cant be used early enough (and after).

Thanks for reading and letting me share,

Dee

Share your creative ideas / Suggestion: Partner / User notes
« on: April 27, 2012, 05:23:52 AM »
.. a feature i often missed: There is no possibility to add some additional information to the Users in Partner search / Friendslist.
In my opinion it youtd be nice if you can add some personal notes (locally saved - like for example the ignore list) to people in Partner Search list / Friendslist.. Would be nice to note down things like his / her personal preferences, intentions, name - and maybe some other things we talked about ..

I am doing this at the moment ia standalone database.. but I think it is no problem to implement that feature in A-Chat. Is there any reason why such a feature is not included ?

Community, share your opinions regarding this issue, please  ;)

Bless you,

Dee

Sad that the "Print" Button does not save screenshots of the in Game graphics in the designated folder...

I am running an ATI Eyefinity triple Screen Setup with my desktop PC (Resolution 5760X1080) - achat works but the Interface is terribly scaled.. The graphics are adapted correctly but the interface is messed up..

So I switch to a triple Screen setup (3* 1900*1080) .. AChat works well on a single display in Fullscreen mode... everything is scaled correctly.

But - Taking a screenshot does not work correctly.. Using copy paste into pbrush.exe produces black borders(1900*1080 left and right) .. tried also fraps and snag!it.. similar problems.. nothing works without reworking the images..

It would be nice if configs with multiple screens (I know many people using similar setups) would be supported
and
maybe the in game screenshot feature could be implemented correctly (within achat - producing own screenies in the designated directory)

Cheers,
Dee

Got any problems running AChat? / AChat on Mac-OS ?
« on: April 24, 2012, 04:08:11 AM »
Just an Idea - or a solution for people having the problems I noticed with my solution...

When bringing a friend into Achat last weekend we just noticed it.. Ooops there is no Version of Achat for Mac Users..
I do nt know if the "Windows World" is stil so far away from the "Mac OS World" as it was when I was coding (Windows 98 <> MAc OS 7.4) but well..

There is no Mac OS Client for AChat  :(
Maybe thats an Idea for the future.. but as soon as there is none we found a Solution for that...

Install  version of a Software called "Parallels" http://www.parallels.com (I dont know if the older Versions are already for free but you can also use a trial) - We did it on Mac OS Lion, using Parallels Desktop 7.

Parallels gives you then an operating system vitualization platform - such as VMWare or MSVirtualserver on a Windows platform..

Configure a Virtual Machine and Install any (XP or newer) version of Windows - maybe you have an old License from an older machine you dont use any more - we took Windows XP SP2. If you wish - run updates and do the "standard" security Installations on the virtual Windows system. Go to the AChat Website (from the Virtual Windows), download, install and configure Achat.

Here you go! AChat on MAc OS Lion  :D
Questions? Feel free to use "PM-button"  ::)

Cheers!
Dee

P.S. Sounds a bit complicating - but its fairly easy getting that Installation running. Did it via Remote control Software from my PC on a Mac on the other side of the globe so .. if you want AChat on your MAC OS - that is an easy way to get it running!
