That Facebook page is gone, Lover. But I see now that you're right about who should do the FB page. At least the ad part. The help/support part def belongs in here. I have a suggestion though: How about if I (or anyone else for that matter) made a PDF manual ? Which explained how to solve the most common problems? Then sent it to you for a review? If you found it to be accurate, then possibly post these under a separate section? With screencap illustrations I think even non english users would understand..?

Yeah, I totally get your point, and to be perfectly honest - I think Facebook sucks elephant ballls myself... But the whole anonymity thing could be solved by a page. First of all: One possibility is to turn off all comments, as a way to say: "We exist" and a brief explanation about the game. An ad for aChat if you like (included a faq) ? As I said earlier, it's not meant as an alternative to this forum. But as an extension of it if you like. To answer the basics and save you the time from doing it. At the same time make people aware of the game existence. Coz I think the potential is enormous. It's just that most people have no idea that a game like aChat even exists... I was one out of 3 friends on Facebook who made the page: "intelligent classy well educated women who say fuck a lot" (the other were 2 American chicks) It's gone now, because the girls moved on to do other stuff (after 3 years you reach a point where you feel "ok, it was fun while it lasted, time to do something different"). And we reached over 200 thousand likes.. http://www.idolbin.com/fprofile/191907457493339 There are many ways to avoid being taken down - even for a page promoting an adult game, trust me
![]() AND.. you'll have an e-mail database for newsletters. This is just an example, it has a 1 $ 30 day trial period - that's why I chose this: https://labs.aweber.com/ + an excellent way to do age verification. I guess what I am basically saying is: Let's get more chicks in here! LOL Ps. Please don't take this as me trying to teach you guys how to run a forum. Coz I really appreciate all the work you've done in here. I've found a lot of useful stuff in here and the mods I've spoken to have been both extremely helpful and friendly. I'm not even sure if my ideas are of any help. But better make a suggestion too much than be passive waiting to get served, right? ![]() 5

Hi, I'm Flameboy
I've got a tip for you all: Think twice before joining with your real girl/boyfriend. Coz if that relationship goes down the drain, you don't want to do your dirty laundry in here, right? But what if your ex does..? Exactly, that can be brutal... Most of you know me by another name - which I'm not going to mention. So I'm not a total "newbie". But it doesn't hurt to say hello one time too many ![]() 6

How about making a Facebook page with instructions on how to let aChat through firewall, make your own playlist etc ? The advantage with using a page is that the admins will remain anonymous and users of aChat can get help just by reading (opposed to a "group" where you have to request to join, your membership is visible for all etc.) Would that be an idea? I have long experience in making pages, so I'd be happy to help out if needed. I'm also part of Facebook's development team, so I know my way around the GUI
![]() Think about it... "frozen comps"... this problem could be eliminated just by posting some screencaps. I use a 80mb mobile broadband connection. "Normal" dl speed for me is betwwen 40-50 mb/s. If I uncheck the exeption option in Windows firewall (which is default unless you've opened the firewall manually) my dl speed drops to 1.2-1.5 mb/s. It's quite a difference..... I assume most people know how to do this manually though. But, it's not given that aChat appears if you click "decide which app/program you will open the firewall" ...This is where things become tricky, coz the location of the exe file is located under appdata or porgramdata. Both are hidden folders. I mean... there's a lot of small things which makes all the difference really. If you want to enjoy the game, you'd want it to run smoothly. And it does - as long as users are aware of how they can easy improve the performance of the game. I know all you admins/moderators in this forum do a fantastic job. I'm sure you've explained this to people a million times. I know there's a well working support group as well. Thing is, reading it versus seing it (in form of a pdf manual or screencap pics) is two entirely different things. The average aChat user has average computer knowledge. And average users wants it explained simple and understandable. Step by step instructions illustrated by pictures works best from my experience. Explaining it by words will only reach those with more than average knowledge. It's easy illustrated in this forum. No comp newbie will post questions here.. In fact, you'll only find people in this forum who knows their way around a comp. This is why Facebook is useful. All the rest are used to find their answers there. And we're talking about those who actully needs help. It's a pretty high percentage of the users in aChat I see however problems here. Language... The "help section" needs to be in: English, German, Russian, French, Italian, Spanish, Turkish. Possibly some more languages as well. Scandinavians and the Dutch reads English - so forget those countries. However, I speak and write both Swedish, Norwegian and Danish - so it is covered if you want... For the other languages, translations is needed. And pics of new poses will have to be moderated. If not it's ba-bye to that page. I would assume this would be of interests for the owner of the game as well. It's a cheap and easy way to promote the game. People can click "like" without having their name listed too. This means all news will appear in their news feed. Most have a Facebook account, and when I joined aChat in December - a Facebook page was the first thing I looked for. I'm pretty sure it's the same was for most new users... And those who are interested in learning or sharing stuff, find this forum brilliant. So don't misunderstand - I'm not talking about replacing this forum !. It's reaching out to a group of users who'll never find their way in here mo matter what I refer too. Plus... Brandybee competition should be announced there of course (under "events") Ads for Achats Bar & Grill , the Design Collection and The Ice House and whatever else you would like in there. Consider it as a way of building a bridge which will eventually lead here (for those with interest in the topic, but not very skilled on comps) Good or bad idea..? 7
