This is an old film  1973? It's called Turk's Fruit  (or Turkish Delight) starring Rutger Hauer (mmmmmm hunky) and Monique Van der Ven

Yes you are both right, it is Turks Fruit. It got a Oscar nominatiojn in 1973 for best non english movie but did not win.
