Solved. Missing poses?! Required Game Update and Reinstall.

If so, please check your account – all your purchases are shown. If you have bought the, restart your comp… and if they still are missing send a message to support (button in upper line of this homepage).

Hi there, well I have exact the same problem, bought some poses and some things, those newest ones, on the profile it reads I have them, but in game I don't see them, the long red hair isn't anywhere in the hair selection and the poses, while trying with the robot boy, there's nothing, that would imply a new pose, only the older ones that I bought earlier, when I got the request, I can only see the white frame, accepting leads to a strange bug, showing either only me, or my partner, or both of us in a strange pose. Seems I'm missing some updates, but the updater keeps telling me, there's no need to update. I did send a ticket to the support and did like they advised me, reinstalling the whole AChat, but no fix. It's just strange that the updater doesn't seem to do it's job.
I'm sorry for posting that here, but I think it may be related with ilovehead69's problem.

The white frame indeed points to missing updates. Though it's strange that the updater says everything is fine. Did you try the new poses with real members too – members who also bought it?

Follow this procedure to see what you effectively bougth:

Ok, a little help for the one of us who wanna see when our subscription started.

AChat subscription info

Log in in the main page and look on the rigth side of your screen.

Here you can see the “Account management” (directly under the Buy A$ button): it have 3 sub categories and the one in the middle is the “Recent purchases”.

Click it and you can see all the stuff you have bougth and the gift or the A$ you bougth in two separate windows.

Move to the second one and look in it: on the left, you can see the date of your operation, a small icon who identify the operation (subscription, gift, buoght A$), a description and the A$ you gain.

And then, if the poses are there, send a ticket to the support. But pay attention at the version you bougth, some SM and FM have similar icons, so take a closed look at them!

Only with real members that have the poses, I see the white frame by receiving the pose request from them, accepting that leads to the bug. When trying with robot boy, I don't see the poses in the menu at all, not even the white frame in the place they should be, nothing there.

The bug happens bc your game doesn't have the pose – as you said, it didn't update. You already re-installed, but do it again. Make sure, you remove the AChat-folder completely before you download and install. If you have people on ignore and want to save your chatlog, save both files before you do.
I'm sorry I can't help more.

The first re-install was clean, there was nothing left in the place of the game's folder, even the folder itself was erased with the uninstaller. I did check that out just to be sure, before I installed it again.

Did you shutdown your comp? Try it and start AChat again.
Which windows are you using, which firewall, anti-virus…

When you start AChat, do you see the lasts updates on the right side of the starting screen?

Oki, I'm using Win 7 Ultimate (at least it reads that), firewall, well no custom, just the standard one from Microsoft, Avast Anti-virus and everything should be allowed, like having AChat or the updater in the allowed program list of firewall and so on.

My comp was restarted twice since the re-install, so I don't know if it's necessary to re-install and restart the comp again.

And when I start AChat (the programm) no screen with updates is showm, I see the updater – just a blocky window with an empty bar (after the re-install, the bar fills with blue, but after that no more), then the AChat window starts to load with the red spinny loading circle, I guess, that's the old version, at least that's what I recall from the past year or two, when I was on AChat the first (and last) time (maybe it's three years or more, the time runs fast sometimes).

You don't get this screen? The user can be anyone, by accident it shows my own avi. On the right side, the latest updates are shown, like scrolling through a list.

Nope, I don't see this screen, right after the load finishes, I'm in the character editor, logged out, but in there.

Now we know the reason you don't get the new pose and hairs – you have an old AChat running. Question now is why.

You said you re-installed AChat. Did you download the latest version before? It seems you didn't or, if you did, you installed your old version. Remove AChat completely, also delete your old AChat from download-folder. Download the latest version, install – and I bet, you can use all the new hot stuff

Yep, have the new screen showing recent updates, everything working now, except the new hair should be red, came out as pure white, when trying, some bug I guess. But have the poses and everything now .)

I have heard that before. It may be the high definition / advanced graphics,  you need to upgrade /  install / turn on.  Some leave it off on purpose preferring the duller look and hence the white hair.
