My Uncle died from AIDS (technically, complications from Pneumonia)
He was 5'11″ and 200 pounds. Barrel chested like Captain Kirk
I saw him in Hospice when he looked like he only weighed 120 lbs, face gaunt, like death,
going in and out of consciousness. I actually prayed for his death, for his release. Every time I play this song I think of him.
The bad memories first, but then the good ones take over. I remember him as he was. I remember him from my youth.

Joan Baez  is a national treasure with a voice like an angel. Her rendition of this Scottish folk song written in the 1700's  has haunted me since i was a small child. A beautiful song but so sad, get a tissue ready.
