The version updater tries to download the following file:

https://funnyadultgamesplay.com/versions/versioninfo.bin

If this file can be downloaded with your internet browser, then the connection seems to work fine. More info can be gained if you show the content of the file

upgrade_dirversionupdate.log

from the main AChat directory.

The HTTP link you posted me will automaticly redirected to secure HTTPS connection

Maybe that is the problem and the updater.exe cannot handle HTTPS or the changed uri / link.
And yes i can download the file with all browsers and dl-managers (but only HTTPS link works)

and as you can see .. the updater.exe cannot download the versioninfo.bin file

and i guess it can not download any files from the server at the moment

I have this issue too.

Same exact problem.

I have firewall disabled, and firefox is at nearly default settings.

Fixed the problem.

My ISP's router had a protection service.

I used Nord VPN

If versionupdater.exe works afterwards, it might fail the first time.

It worked when I tried a 2nd time.

Here nothing is fixed.
We also dont use VPN.
I am not alone with the problem.

But i found the 7ziped update files now and you can download it one after one
The structur on server is easy to understand
So if you stuck on update 883 you just need the newer files

I tested it and it works
All you must do is extract the 7z archives and copy the files into your AChat folder
But one after one started with the lowest number!!!!

Until now i did not get an answer what the problem really is
and how and when they will fix it.

here you can find an up to date full version with some corrections:

If you uninstall the existing program and install this new version it can solve the upgrade problem.
Anyway it contains all upgrades till Jan 9, 2020

I tested also your newest installer achatsetup.exe (it includes till update 888)
It still NOT updates.
And yes i have deinstalled all before and also deleted the Achat folder.

Then i checked the VersionUpdater.exe and it has still only HTTP:// within.

So i think that is the problem.
Please also change and recompile this file.

Oh and btw.
Please also include then Update 889 in the installer
cos there is the new fixed achat.exe, achat_starter.exe and appstart.bin included.

I hope with the changes in the VersionUpdater.exe the problems are fixed.

Hello, I have the same problem.  I uninstall Achat and installed, nothing changes but more now I can not connect and it's been at least 15 days .  Medammes and gentlemen administrators could you solve these problems as soon as possible because in the meantime my Prem is useless.

It's most likely your firewall and it sounds like your antiviris is stopping it.

Follow these steps and hopefully it will work again and allow Achat and the updater  through your windows and antivirus firewalls.

Search your PC for   “Allow applications through windows defender firewall “

Click on change settings,  top right

click on  “allow another application”   bottom right

Search for Achat  and click on it. Then add the things:

AChat_setup.exe

Achat_starter

Achat version updater.exe

Add them one by one  and click ok so they are allowed through your Wndows Defender Firewall.

Then do the same type of thing by going into your own antivirus firewall settings to add them as well.

Search for  allow application or allow programme   and follow the same kind of steps.

Hope this works for you.

Firewall and Antivir is off and i also tested it with new clean install windows 10
Maybe its also a signature problem
The weird thing is that we tested it in different countries and got same problems.
