First are you attempting just one link? Each post can only have one link or the whole post will poof.

Only png or jpeg pics will work and only gifs for video. MP4’s won’t work.

Most posters use a program such as Imgur and use the link provided by Imgur.

The following code must be used when posting:

1. copy and paste <img src=”
2. Then paste the link
3. Then copy and paste this “/> immediately after the link.
4. Hit Submit

Note: If you pic does not show just refresh and it should be there.

Thanks Jessi, did exactly that (not exactly a newbie forum poster, and know HTML backwards and forwards, I’m a rare female front end coder type) but no luck. I may try again.

Welcome to forum.
That can happen because of copyright on some pics.
You can either choose another pic or take a screen shot and upload it to imgur.

To screen shoot click on prt sc and pull and drag the square to the pic you want. Use esc button to get back to original screen or use
Lightshot which is a free app/download for screen shots.

Imgur is a free pic hosting site you can join.
The http from that will then work but to obtain it, click on the actual pic in imgur to enlarge it, right click and choose “copy image address”
Then paste it between the image brackets as described above by Jessi in forum.

Dont forget to “Hide” your albums if naughty so others dont see them.
