I don't hide mine but that's my personal choice.   Way I see it, I'm not anyone's shameful secret. 

If all they do, is send vindictive messages to your lists, that's an awful lot of wasted energy out of a room.  Takes all but a few seconds  to report them to Achat,  another second to delete and let them stay in their unhappy world.
Another second to ignore.

And, just so you know, I have been the victim of such silly idiots on a number of occasions.  They never win or achieve anything except to show they are nasty and spiteful.
