We have to differ. When is it still just keeping and protecting our private life, when is it lying.
Most here don't talk about their RL for good reasons. It's the same as you don't tell everything to a stranger you meet in real. I accept this.
For me, it's starting when you tell (bad) stories ABOUT your life or when you tell untrue things about other members or when you lie to hurt other people. Or when you, instead of telling the truth, are silent to those who love you. Maybe it's not a lie, but playing with feelings – something I hate.
I agree with what has been said before: Only if you love and accept yourself, you can accept and love others.
@jinger: Right. All rp games offer the chance, to be someone else – better, stronger, more beautiful… it's not good or bad. It may help us, to become the person we want to be (eg becoming more self-confident) but if we lose ourself in this fantasy, we start telling lies. Firts a little one, but then we have to lie more and more, just to “protect” our first one.
And, of course, here are the same people there are in life – those who are born liars, not able to be honest. It's sad but it's more sad for them then to us.
