BOO….. I Love you

I am now walking around, albeit very slowly and in a bit of discomfort. My ribs now yelling louder than my other aches, I broke 3 of them on my left side but none punctured my lung. Lucky girl here.

Even though I have done nothing but lay in a hospital bed for over 10 days, I have little energy and sleep most of the day. Just like my kitties.

I hope to be discharged Saturday, I still have to pass a couple tests and brain scans first. *Fingers n toes all crossed.

I can't wait to get home.

I got a message this morning…

MY BABY IS AWAKE!!

“My head and body broken n hurting but healing. We humans may be fragile but we are resilient. Not sure how long I must stay, just know they won't let me fly home until certain there is no risk of cerebral swelling. My head took quite a hit. Good thing I have a really “hard” head “

Positive News

I received an email update from her Husband…

I owe you thanks for your prayers and apologies for intruding into your correspondence with K.
Your sincerity evident in daily email.
We are optimistic the worst is over, K's cerebral hemorrhage has subsided and she was revived from a medically induced coma this morning.
I can't say when she will be able to respond but I will convey your thoughts.

Thank you.

Keep her in your thoughts, please.  Until she actually talks to me I'm still praying.

To those that love Kait,

Pray for her. I got a message that she is in hospital in Italy after the flood in Tuscany.
This is part of what was sent to me by her new husband…

“The coast of Italy was hit by severe storms on the 11th, many coastal villages suffered damaging floods.  While attempting to help others K sustained a severe head injury. She is in hospital and still unresponsive.

If you care for her as much as she believes then pray for her.”

Our Kait, being the nurse and helper that she is, jumped in to help and somehow got hurt.
I was told this Thursday morning and am sorry it took me so long to process it and come here.
Pray for our Kait. Keep her in your thoughts. please.
