Hiya's…

   On patrol in the Alpha Quadrant, investigating the flash.

   From the pieces of the FLIR camera, our gadget guy cobbled together an Ion Detector which, hopefully will enable us to find the area that the flash occured in.  If there are trace ions there we should be able to track them.

         

   One of the great things of being in space is the weightlessness.  Case in point:  My butterfingered partner dropped the Ion Detector from her pedal rocket and it did not get damaged.  It just floated and was easily retrieved.

   The investigation continues… and we could use everyone's help.

  We were patrolling the border again last night, and checked the “sneaky cam”.  We didn't catch any more pictures, and the batteries were still fully charged.

  We did notice a few parked automobiles (sorry Adera), and asked a few questions, but no one spotted anything odd.

  We were just about to end our shift when we noticed something strange in the sky.  It was a streak of light that went across the sky and then flashed out.  Cpl. Satoire managed to snap a picture of the flash.

     

  As we were departing the area, we saw an odd set of lights, which appeard to be eyes that were looking at us.  When we stopped, it got even stranger.  We got a photo of that, too.

     

  If anyone has any information they wish to share, please feel free to do so.  We could use everyone's help.

  Report from the Border: 
There was an extensive collaboration between the BUNNY Division and the Detective Division last evening that proved to be very benificial to all.

  Upon examining the “sneaky cam” we found that the batteries were completely drained.  We caught one picture of a bird and this photo below.

         

  Yesterday's Tattler had an article concerning the theft of two more robots.  So far, we have no evidence of these two unusual occurrances being connected.  We will continue to investigate.

  Wow HB, very well done.  I like the entire concept you have working there.  Fantasy and Dungeons and Dragons type things are a favorite of mine.  I look forward to seeing more.

  Our request for a motion detection camera was approved!  We were granted the use of a state of the art FLIR infared camera with wireless technology.  This was great!  All we had to do was set it up and we would be able to monitor the camera from the BUNNY Division quonset hut.

  Only… the camera has been damaged.  It was inadvertently dropped from one of the pedal cars (I don't want to say which one it was) and the Sargeant who was driving the trailing pedal car ran it over.  Maybe it can be fixed.

   

  So, since I felt a bit responsible for losing the use of the infared camera, we took the bird monitoring camera from my backyard.  See picture below:

   
    Some of us took this opportunity to catch a little sun.

  We have installed the pole with the camera attached to it near the place where we captured the photographs of the strange light.  We're hoping this will give us a better look at whatever it is, if the anomaly should reoccur.

  HB… I don't know if it's criminal or not.  Maybe it is… maybe it's not.

  We patrolled the Space border today.  Nothing unusual happened, so there is nothing to report.  We did find out one thing though…. space is big.

       
        The pedal ion engine is very quiet.  The Chief is always watching.

  I love the stockings… I have a pair in real that looks just like those, only they have toes in them, and they're more like socks.  These you show are great and would be fun to wear on my character.

While patrolling the border, we noticed a peculiar light near the border fence.  Cpl. Satoire was quick enough to take three pictures before the light faded out.

  I am reluctant to show these, because we probably be taken away from this, too.

  We investigated the area and found footprints leading to where we thought the light emanated from.  The prints were very faint and appeared to end at that spot.  We have submitted a request for a motion detection camera to place in the area.

  We have been re-assigned to the Border Patrol.  We cannot understand why this has been done, except for nepotism.  We of the BUNNY Division broke the story of the Robot Robberies and filed the first report.  It seems the “powers that be” know more about this than we do, except for the fact that we know for sure that The Kissing Bandit is not, I repeat NOT, responsible for the theft.

  We have decided to ignore the press release and continue our own investigation, utilizing all the resources of the BUNNY Division.

   I think I have figured out all the authors.  But since there is no real contest or game about it, I will keep my guesses to myself.  I am curious to how well I did with my guesses.  Two in particular were very difficult to get a handle on the author… one was really easy.

   I will probably re-read them several times before I cast my vote, because I agree that there is a lot of talent there, and for me, it's a difficult decision to choose just one as a favorite.

   I do want to thank all those who submitted a story, and special thank you to TightFit for taking the time and making the effort to moderate the contest.  Thank you.

Hiya's…

  Corporal Satoire and I started our first patrol of the Alpha Quadrant yesterday.  It was rather uneventful, except for what seemed like a comet streaking by.  We yelled for it to slow down, but in space, no one can hear you scream. 

         

  We did pass by some friendly AChat citizens.  Today we will be on patrol in section 2837 of the Alpha Quadrant.  We're looking forward to that patrol, as we heard there is a new donut shop opened in that section.

  We are still awaiting approval from the Superintendent to begin the process of launching into the Beta Quadrant.

  HB,we are happy to see that you may be coming to space.  There's plenty of space out in space, but we hope to see your floating city.
