Semi-final 2

The second semi-final will take place on Thursday 8 May in the same venue.

It will feature 15 different countries to the first semi-final, which takes place two days beforehand.

The countries taking part will be: Malta, Israel, Norway, Georgia, Poland, Austria, Lithuania, Finland, Ireland, Belarus, FYR Macedonia, Switzerland, Greece, Slovenia and Romania.

Ten of the highest-scoring countries will be awarded a place in the final.   See above  for qualifying countries so far.


The Grand Finale

The grand final will take place on Saturday 10 May, and will be broadcast in the UK on BBC One from 8pm.

WHAT? WHERE IS BELARUS? The phone system didnt work, they would have got 99% im sad now, really sad.. a young, emerging band/singer/combo/duo or whatever with a great old new song with words full of lyrics and poetry... the song contest is dead now, i wont watch any second. Ok, i would not have watched it at all but now i even wont read about the result.

I know my country is Germany and I should be rooting for them, but this is an outrage!

Cake to Bake from Latvia didn't make it to the semi-finals. Do they not appreciate a song that tells us to Bake a damn cake?

Today, Latvia has been robbed.
