I think the 46% is ok. Even if you are prem, you don't always get an answer. Some may chat like Bear mentioned, some don't like the welcome words and many other won't notice the message. They are afk or the message comes between 2 or more messages same time. I already had this. I got two messages almost at once from my chat partner… later I noticed there came another message right before these both.

And you asked a guy. It might be interesting to repeat this with a girl. Probably the number of answer is higher.

If you would have asked me before, I would have said “perhaps 20%”. So for me it's ok.

Az, now I see what you are doing Great job. Some of the things they have to know are hidden in the FAQ – though it has become bit mazy.
I have an idea how to improve it, clean it and separate it in different areas. I'm just waiting for an answer of the A-Team.
Even if they agree with my suggestion, I'm glad if there is some help. So my suggestion to you:
Go on working on your “User manual” and perhaps we can work together, respectively add your manual to the board. What do you think?

If you are able to use prepaid phone cards then it's true – it can be a problem with non-adults. In Germany this payment method is just in the beginning and you could not buy a one year description, as there is a limit of 29,99€ (less then 40 US$) for it.
I just asked because Susy's answer to this question and I'm sure, they will proof all pros and cons of this approach first.

I agree with some of your wishes and ideas. And I also wish, AChat will stay what it is:
Unique and simple

Usually fast (the I'm not talking about sex ), easy to handle and at least all players share one the same background.

It's nice to see we're collecting different payment methods. Though my question was about news of the payment system, especially as Susy said, they are planning phone billing which would be a help for many members.

t the current time, I have noticed a distinct lack of a “Newbie” guide that describes in detail all the controls in detail. I have mentioned this to tightfit74 and I am in the process of compiling a “Manual” to this effect

HB, imop the support is just for technical issues, questins about the the game (how it works, becoming premium… all that stuff) but not to collect ideas. It would not be a problem to make a thread about this, but I'm afraid it would be confusing very soon, like the FAQ-board is now. And the title of the board is “Discussions about AChat” so it means for poses, shop, improvements…

On the other side it sounds logical – we have just one board-name called “Share your creative ideas”. We could split it
– Share your creative ideas for content
– Share your creative ideas for interface/technical improvements

As Daniela says, I also don't think it's necessary. Yes, it has happened to me and I accepted a wrong invite. But this hasn't been really a problem. At the same moment, my partner wanted to invite me I got a cold invite and accepted. Of course I was surprised, but then esplained what has happened and left the room.
Perhaps a nice way to meet new people

No, if there is no connection problem and if the invited partner accepts the room is starting at once.

One idea, I don't know if it's possible… you just can invite the person you are chatting to and all other members are blocked. But I think, it would be necessary to change a lot in the software/database.
