Just to make it clear…lol This is just a suggestion.. I would love feedback if anyone sees loopholes or misses things…
Maybe someone, with a creative, graphic mind can design a poster that can be used as a background? Or to post here in the forum as advertisement?
NOTE: This is just a suggestion for the announcement, not the real announcement itself… That will have it's own thread!
“SUMMER”
Announcing a new erotic story contest. For anyone to enter, judge or enjoy reading. Starring the theme of the contest: SUMMER VACATION.
As discussed on forum, something from achat will be incorporated in each story, to emphasize the connection with the game, and to recognize the dev-team for sponsoring the contest. As before, there will be an entry period with a deadline, and then a voting period with a deadline as well. This time less cramped in time.
For anyone who’d like to enter, please take note of following notifications:
Rules:
1. Please do not break regulations or laws when submitting your story.
2. In the story, the central theme and something from Achat must be incorporated. The theme is Summer Vacation, the link to Achat must be based on a room, background or outfit, and preferably recognisably described.
3. The length of the story must not exceed 2 posts. 1 post allows 20,000 characters. That includes spaces as well. About 5500 – 6000 is the limit per story.Prizes:
1. The winner of the contest will win 10.000 A$ or 1 year subscription.
2. The runner-up will get 5000 A$ or 6 months subscription
3. Second runner-up gets 1500 A@ or 1 months subscription
4. All other contestantswill receive 250 A$ for submitting their stories.If either of the podium places are shared, in the other contest first place was shared, first prize is shared and the second runner up will get 3rd prize. If 2nd place is shared, the prize will be shared and 3rd prize will not be awarded. If 3rd place is shared, both contestants will receive 750 A$.
Dates:
Submitting: The thread will open February 1st.
Deadline: The thread for entering your stories will be closed at 30th of June.Voting: The poll will be opened July 1st.
Closing: The poll will be closed Agust 31st.

IMO opinion it should not be too hard to incorporate one of the rooms in a story. The only one I find hard, is the log cain. Though I know there are places in the summer covered with snow.. It's only summer in the north hemisphere… *grins*. Just as long as they are described well enough to be recognised..
I've been working on an announcement for the new contest and will post it after this one. Feedback would be very welcome, as I feel some areas could use fine tuning. eager to get your input…
I think something from AChat should be incorporated with the story. I see that as one of the conditions to be eligible to be judged. I do think that narrowing it down to the rooms, might narrow the possibilitis a little. Outfits might not be easy, unless it is a very particular piece. Bu I am thinking myself, that the backgrounds might be incorporated, as long as they are descrivbed well enough to be recognised..
I'll start setting dates soon, I would like some more input on the theme. I wil ponder on it a little more and bring some suggestions myself.
IMHO, it should have something to do with summer, holidays, lots of suncream (
) en a lot of barely dressed people…I'll post my propositions before the weekend…
or get caught again next time we go on a hike…
But to return to subject, I would too like to hear if the dev-team want a say in this, or want to make a suggestion. As fasr as they told me (thank you Suzy), they do not have any manpower available to organise the contest. I do hope they will share something with us, being the sponsor of the whole thing..
as far as I remember, the helicopter with te rescue crew was just landing… but they haven't broken down the door yet and found us naked..
lol, one thing I know for sure.. a log cabin on a snowy hill does not really match the timing of the contestn, not the first proposed theme…
@Lover I love the way how 'he who can see in the future' is so tormented with his destiny, looking for a way to escape without really knowing what his destiny is. I hope I am getting it right? Maybe his abilty to see the future should have a name, a myth-like creature that roams the earth and saves people for unescapable doom…
I think I will need to work on the fighting skills of Umbra, so far he has not raised a hand against anyone, which is his intention ofcourse. But, if there is to be a gathering of forces, to defend the city of certain obliteration, it would be good to know how he holdshimself in a fight. Maybe, during one of his nightly prowls. It doesn't seem impossible if he runs into one of the changers.
I do like the idea of all characters, is some way, team up to fight the threat against the city..
I like the room, small, compact, wih 3 quite full.. For a more intimate feeling? One thing is a hige shame though… The 'against the wall' pose is against the glass doors, but when turning the cam, you bump into the virtual world. I think it would be nice if you could look inside and see the action, as if you're peeping…
The fireplace is a nice thought, but doesn't work as well as I had hoped for. No visual effects to support the idea..Another example… wish I could get the mirror effect out of it.. anyone have a clue?

Janine, wether we want to incorporate something from AChat design, wether it is a pose or an outfit/room/background, is something open to suggestion.
A pose would have to be usuable for all orientations. Though with a bit of fantasie, any pose can be transferred to all orientations I think. Depenedig on what room the A-team is developing (more rooms are on the design list if I recall correct), we can maybe decide at a later point wether to incorporate it into the contest. Though I do like the idea.. The deck of a ship is a good idea for a new room… or maybe we should call them environments?
Concluding, we have 3 options so far. 1 suggestionf ro a theme, one suggestion to use something that is developed by AChat, or a combination of the two.. Incoprporating a design by the a-team into the theme has my preference.. For me, it is easier to write a story based on an underlaying theme..
Besides the chance for mercinaries to show their skills, the contests are also an initiation ceremony, where the young boys that turn to men, are challenged to show their manhood. The stands will be filled with eligible girls, that are looking for a future partner. The boys that exceed int he contest, are certain of warm arms and legs waiting to embrace them during the night, for them to spill the energy they have after the rush of winning.
I am curious of the cult as well. Maybe Bear and Janine can enlighten us with backgrounds. motives and perspective. The hiërarchy, goals and reason for being inside the city, trying to upset the fragile balance in political powers…
