Welcome to the new forum.

Initially you could log out from the menu in your profile… I think that’s how I gained the younger Vaughan.
They have now taken that option away. It was listed at the bottom on the left.
So if you tick the box to stay logged in, at the moment, there is no way to reverse it. So you are stuck in log in mode till they return the log out again.

Achat clean out free user accounts on occasions after complaints about nuisance alts. You could have got caught up in one of these sweeps.
Also Inactive Free user accounts have a limited shelf life and are shut down on an automated system after a certain period of time.
