What new Cosmetics would you like to see created by the AChat Team? Post them here and in a couple weeks they will be compiled into a Poll for which you can vote for your favorite. At the end of the month there will be a WINNER! The winning Cosmetic will be sent to the AChat Team for development! (Cosmetics are Lipsticks, Fingernail polishes, Eye and face make-up/paint, Hair dyes/styles, tattoos, etc. cosmetics do not change or affect the body's structure or functions, just appearance. Here is what we need: - A short name for the suggested cosmetic.

This is my attempt at making a HM (Height Map) Tutorial. I've never made a HM before but after playing around in Photoshop for a bit, I've determined a pretty easy way to get a basic HM started which can be tweaked into what looks best for your texture. This is what my texture design looks like with the default AChat shirt HM:  - Step 1: Open your .png texture in photoshop.
- Step 2: Select FILTER > SKETCH > PHOTOCOPY... from the top menu
 - Step 3: Adjust the "DETAIL" slider to determine how much detail you want the HM (Hight Map) to detect. Adjust the "DARKNESS" slider to determine the obviousness of the hightened areas.
 - **TIP** White raises the surface, Black lowers the surface.
- **TIP2** If you want to invert the appearance of your HM, select IMAGE > ADJUSTMENTS > INVERT
  I chose this texture to use as the example piece since it's the easiest to compare the different HMs. I also have a very old version of Photoshop so I don't know if the newer versions are set up differently but I assume they should work in a similar fashion. If anyone has special tips or tricks with adjusting the HM, feel free to post it.

      It is the month of October, home to my favorite holiday... In the spirit of the holiday excitement, I've decided to start this topic for discussions about Halloween ideas/suggestions for costumes or backgrounds in AChat.Of course, I don't want to limit the conversations to AChat only. Feel free to share some fun and possibly erotic past Halloween experiences.
I've already had a few ideas for small changes that could easily be added/changed (I assume), to bring the enthusiasm of Halloween to the members of AChat:
VAMPIRE TEETH: I think we can all agree vampires are sexy as they are deadly... If I was one, blood wouldn't be the only thing I would suck. 
JEWELRY: Pentagrams, Skulls, Bats, Pumpkins, Ghosts. So many great pieces of gothic necklaces, earrings, and other jewelry can be worn for the sake of holiday fun.
  
TATTOOS: Some simple ideas for fun body ink art inspired by Halloween
 
BACKGROUNDS: Jack-o-lanterns, Haunted House, Full Moon, Graveyard, just a few dark and spooky backgrounds to fit the theme.
Halloween is a holiday to enjoy and celebrate by wearing fun and even sexy costumes. I appriciate the developers creating a few so far and I encourage them to keep 'em coming. I understand they have a long list of projects currently being worked on which is why I'm trying to keep my ideas for Halloween as minimal/simple as possible. It would be exciting to see other member's creativity by decorating themselves and their profiles with Halloween-inspired fashion provided by the wonderful creators of AChat. "Light is a powerful substance. We have a primal connection to it. But, for something so powerful, situations for its felt presence are fragile ... I like to work with it so that you feel it physically, so you feel the presence of light inhabiting a space... I wanted to employ sunlight, moonlight and starlight to empower a work of art." - James Turrell (lighting artist) It's incredible how the proper lighting can set the mood of any situation. That is why I thought it was necessary to see if anyone else felt the same way I do about the dull, flat lighting of each private room. I have few suggestions on different lighting and filter options maybe people could select for a room that will make the experience seem more realistic, and for people who like to role play different scenarios. LIGHTING OPTIONS- 1. Candle light - darker room, flickering warm light on the walls and bodies. Also could work for fireplace lighting to create possible shadowing.
- 2. Moonlight - blueish hue for the room, again, possible shadowing
- 3. Party Lighting - This could be fun with ultraviolet lighting, possible strobe light or maybe just different color lights alternating (red, blue, green, etc)
FILTER OPTIONS- 1. Nightvision Camcorder - self-explanitory. cover the screen with a grainy, greenish tint and make the eyes reflective.
- 2. Black & White - 1950's style hues and tints to feel vintage
- 3. Sepia - western-style filter with more orange hues
- 4. Depth of Field - Give an option to put the background out of focus.
I know there's probably lots of other lighting and filter options that I forgot to list here. If you can think of any other fun ones, please share! I'm sure that lighting could be difficult to program into the game because it may affect the frame rate and lag for users. But, if it can be done, I think it would add a whole new dynamic element to AChat.

Hiyee everyone! My name is Keiko and i'm new to AChat and I am loving it! I've never posted on the forums before and I've tried to read most of the topics that have been discussed so if I'm posting in the wrong place, posting a suggestion that already has been implemented or trying to beat a dead horse, I deeply apologize. So my suggestion to the Dev Team is that it would be so nice for the avid keyboard users of the game to have the option for complete control over all selections using keyboard shortcuts. - The general chat area where you can chat to new users would be easier if I had the option to use, for example, "TAB" to bring down the list of user's names that I am currently having a conversation with and select using the arrow keys instead of clicking multiple times to select the correct user. I get alot of messages and I would like to quickly and easily switch conversations with my fingertips.
- Now when you're in a private room with another user, instead of clicking the different poses, what if they were numbered? So you could tap a number key to select a pose. Then the different animations within that pose could be done in a similar way.
Those are just a few suggestions I have that might make the game much easier to use for those of us who arn't quick with a mouse. I mean, our fingers are spent most of the time on the keyboard anyway, right? Thanks for listening and hope to meet all of you sometime on AChat! ^_^ <3
