“Imagination is the highest kite one can fly.” Lauren Bacall
So true. Now she is the highest kite… RIP Lauren
August 13, 2014 at 9:23 pm #141451You all know this happens in Threes, right?
Someone in Hollywood dies, then another one, then a third. OK, that being said…I loved Lauren Bacall most in “The Shootist” with John Wayne, but in all her roles she always seemed so strong, always a confident woman.

October 14, 2014 at 6:52 pm #142356Bob Hoskins, 1942-2014: Goodbye to a diamond geezer
Asked who his hero was Hoskins did not name Olivier or Edward G Robinson or even his good friend Michael Caine but described a long-ago passing encounter at Victoria station in London with a girl in leg irons who was setting off to backpack around the world.
“She's been my hero ever since, the only hero I've ever had,” said Hoskins.
Says a lot about the man he was.

RIP Mr Bob Hoskins xxx
