Thank you for your supportive note. It’s always nice to hear from an experienced Forum user that the tidy up is appreciated.

I have asked members for ideas on improvements or changes they wanted to see in Forum and within my “power” to do but nothing has been suggested so far.
I have no idea what visions members might have or not have as no one has contacted me to discuss or suggest anything they wanted.

I have therefore, carried on with things I thought would be useful to see; to have; to make things more user friendly, and, to merge duplicate topics.
Some topics have been moved to better and more appropriate sections. Some have been merged because of duplication or archive reasons.
I have answered things in new and old topics, that I thought were relevant now as well as then, for new members, old members and to update Forum as I went along.

I have been careful not to delete topics so the history of Achat is maintained and members we have lost, still have their Achat legacy and written word enshrined for friends to visit any time and have their quiet moments. Those people are still precious to some.
One will always be close to my heart.

So thank you for your post and for your support.
And Thank you for our anniversary wishes. I’m glad I found a wench who puts up with me 😛 I’m a lucky man.

Any suggestions people may have on forum improvements… please post in the topic below… not this one. Thanks.

This bug returned a few years later.

For some reason, I appear in my friends list as a friend and have done for some time now. I don’t mind. It can be quite useful!

In my web account I actually appear twice.

Although I appear in there, it is no different to “Show Myself” I cannot gift or invite myself.
