I fully agree with the impact being hard Deharte. I do not think that our members clothes and poses should be a part of Achat’s A$1,000 promotion give-away that New Joins receive, if they penalise you like that.

The promotion should be restricted to Achat’s own creations only.
You should not pay for their promotion to attract members nor have your accounts raided without notice.
It’s a pay cut without notice and not good practice.
You cant agree payment, pay and then decide… that’s too much and steal the money back.
Name a business that does that?
Trade unions would be in an uproar!

Achat appear to have broken your contract for payment by raiding your accounts and changing the rules midway and without warning.

The date of the rule change should be current and advertised in advance, not retrospective.
This gives designers and creators the information to decide whether they continue working for Achat then or not.

Achat should refund all members, do the right thing and then advise on the date of the rule change so creators can pull their designs, poses and stop all together if they wish.

Come on Achat, where is your good will? Do not treat our talented and valued members in this way.

I tested the words in a topic title and discovered the problem word is ” Entering ”

I have no idea why.

But this word in the title causes the topic to default to the Achat Home Page.

You can see for yourself by trying to open the topics in this section.

Got any problems running AChat?

The top topic titles containing the word “Entering” will default to the Achat Home Page and the topics are not able to be opened.

I will leave up for a while and then delete the topics with an update in the “Useful things to know about Forum and How to Post” topic in “Forum News” Section.

So it does post ok in a reply post. So the issue is with the title.

Crashes when entering a room

I opened a new topic here in this section entitled “Crashes when entering a room” AND GUESS WHAT…. it defaults to Achat’s Home Page when you try to open it.

I think its a banned forum word. We just need to isolate which one.

It will be interesting to see if this post publishes in the topic. Does it include posts and / or titles?

I have reported this issue to Achat.
As new topics can be posted here and members have kindly created test topics. I can only think some words, unknown to us, may be banned and the default of Achats Home Page is then activated, similar to the Achat Game with profiles defaulting to “I LOVE ACHAT” when banned words are used.

Unfortunately as the topics go to the Achat Homepage, I am unable to edit the posts to approve or activate them again.
As you can imagine, my OCD is going into overdrive after spending so much time, tidying up the topics and forum.

I will be doing a few tests sometime today, to see if I can identify any banned words in forum. Watch this space! lol

Of course I will do everything to support you all.
You creators and designers are highly valued for keeping Achat interesting and well dressed.
All Members, I’ve spoken to agree and support you.

Achat have not answered me yet, so I have sent another message and will continue to do so.
This is far too important to be ignored.

Please get your friends to voice support in this topic too and write to support. We need to keep the momentum up and tell Achat this is an important issue.

This bad feeling is gathering momentum. Please don’t ignore the creators and your customers.
I’m sending my message again dated Tues 23 Jan 2024.
Please strongly consider reimbursing the creators and designers and have a specific date for the rule change in paying them. They can then decide if they wish to continue working for you within the new rules.
Please also seriously consider not allowing their designs or creations being part of the A$1,000 gift for new joins.
This seems to be the crux of the problem.

This is an absolute disgrace.

So member Designers and creators spend a lot of time and creativity, making amazing poses and clothes to keep the game exciting and relevant and frankly giving Achat a much needed time boost so their own designers can concentrate on the Game update… and then they penalise our member creators!!!

Achat, the newcomers gift is YOUR GIFT to promote & encourage new joins. You make a profit when they become premium members. You don’t share that profit out.
You cant give a A$1.000 promotion and then effectively charge your own member designers and creators for it.
That’s a ridiculous state of affairs.

Pay the designer and creators what they deserve.
Every time a New Join or someone under level 10 chooses one of their designs and you do not pay … It is THEFT, plain and simple.

If you don’t want to pay the designers, then don’t allow New Joins access to their designs. Give your own designs away for free, not theirs.

This is shocking.
