I would suggest to start a new thread to continue our discussion about the forum and collect the ideas we have for changing lay out and categories. If we ask for a specific way for the forum to be reorganised and offer a view on how it should be, we can ask them to create the sections we need in a single go, instead of piling request upon request.

So I think we need to get clear what we want and how we want it, before making specific suggestions. Does that sound logical?

I have read the post. Welcome Upstecher.

my problem was difrent however. I met all requirements to upload, the upload-menu just didt't appear. I followed the advice of the support-team and cleared the cache of my explorer.

I think the problem is, that appareantly the subscrition is not valid. You can only upload a picture if you bought a subsctiption with 'real' money, instead of AChat money. Did you get a subscription with a$? If that is the case, you won't be able to upload. If not, it would be wise to contact support..

thank you for your praise.. Uhm, not sure what to do with it Not well at handling compliments..

I am still considering wether I will post new designs. for the time being, my time has been consumed by other priorities, amongst those the story contest that now has opened. I share your opinion this thread is not forgotten, sometimes I feel somewhat desperate because of patience that is demanded for a comment or a result. But that goes for so many ideas and suggestions here. At least, the A-team have once again shown, they are watching what we do, and implements ideas from members (like the slider bar).

I hope and expect there is a future.. lol Enthousiasm driving me to push the subject a bit… If not showing designs, I will be relentless in bringing back the subject of alternate shops, feeling strenthened by the support of so many..

on your request.. I have editted the mail as not everything is for public view. Not hiding anything, just don't want things to flare up again. This is what I suggested, it also depicts my view on the website as a whole, as I have outed in other posts as well..

Goal of forum:
1. Visiting card for AChat
2, Facade of company building should look pristeen
3. Portal for (new) members, to entice them to become prem.
4. Database for ideas
5. Platform for members to meet outside of the game and discuss topics of interest (forum)

consequences of less intense moderation:
The cluttered sections look chaotic. some sections are claimed by sticky posts, some longer as 8 months untouched. That does not appeal to people to go to the forum and contribute actively.

Possible solutions:
1. Wondering of Suzy has other tasks that eat her time away, besides the forum. She has been very quiet for a number of weeks, only to return with the comment: less words, more action. Though I haven't seen anything of her actions in the game.
2. appoint member-moderators, that can moderate (certain) sections of the forum while Suzy concentrates on the big issues.
3. Add another moderator, to assist Suzy in her work, as appareantly it is growing over her head…

Benefits of appointng member-moderators:
1. Free/unpaid volunteered assistance in the forums by responsible, professional, and dedicated members of the site.
2. Promotes a healthy, active appearance of helpful, knowledgable assistance  in the forums.
3. Encourages growth by attracting more new members and motivates them to upgrade to premium.
4. Expect to find more passion and pride by members when they are given the opportunity to be responsible for a forum they have been loyal to.

I feel the forum is just as important as other parts of the website, and needs to have a professional, open, respectful appeal to people. Somewhere where it is easy to find info about the game, meet new people and express their interest in the game.

I have been passionate about the game from the start and have offered my views on how to improve the game. I hope my view will allow you to look at the forum closely and with a critical eye.

None of us that signed the topic, are here just for ourselves.
None of us claims the forum to be ours.
It's obvious there are different viewpoints on how a forum should work. We have expressed ours.

We can spend pages and pages on discussing how the message was delivered. I think that is a waiste of time. If needed, I will show all examples on why I was ready to leave. The point is mute in my view.

The whole aim of the topic was to show our discontent, concern and offer sugestions on how to improve the forum. Also, if the post is read clearly:
it seems clear what we want. And so it is now becoming your choice, your decision. What kind of forum do you want to participate with, contribute to. As it is hopefully made clear, contributing, for the benefit of the game and all of it’s members, is what a forum is all about.

We want you to give your opinion as well, shape this forum together. If you see no reason to change anything, fine. Expect the forum to stay as it is, also expect me, and others to retreat (yes, i know probably some people are cheering behind their screen when reading this).  The forum in its current form, is not a forum I want to contribute to. We are accused of claiming the forum for ourselves, from a higher position. To me, it seems the forum has already been claimed.

So far, only a few voices i have heard that want to contribute to a discussion about the forum. If this is the form that is desired, it's all yours… As suggested, there are other ways of creating a community, outside of this forum. But if I had a choice, I'd like to invite everyone to discuss how to continue…

I want to thank everybody for their reactions, whatever tone it was in.

    Over the past weeks/months, enough remarks and posts have been made, subtlely requesting to stay more on topic and be respectful towards the interests of others. They have been ignored and seen as unimportant (the nagging of a couple of oldtimers?)

    This has led us to word our discontent the way we have. Some off you are offended, angry, pissed even. A perfect description of how I have felt when reading some posts over the last period.

    Some have picked up on the suggestion to the a-team to have the forum cleaned up. I have made efforts to coherse the a-team to take their measures to make the forum more accessible, as it is a part of their business profile. I still very much urge them to do so..

    This topic, provocative as it is in tone, is for me a follow up to the suggestions I have made to the a-team a  few weeks earlier to increase the value of the forum for its members, the company and anyone interested in starting to play the game.

I hope a discussion will arise from this, as it was our intention

Dear development team,

for a few days there has been no activity in this post. There was a huge momentum of posts, ideas and examples of great designs. Which unfortunately seems to have come to a halt.

The main reason being, there seems to be no end-term when the first designs will either be available in the shop, or when secundary shops are opened.. I am worried the whole idea will die a silent death, if any indications to the progress of the plans fail to be expressed to us.

That would be a shame… The 'independent designers' have shown great skill and imagination. And adding more design, releasing more clothes each week, would mean generating income, as well as offering possibilities to members to personalize their avatars more.. The continous critique that avatars all look alike, is for a big part justified. Here is an opportunity where a big step forward can be made, yet none has been taken.

A bit of info on the progress would be very appreciated and might even be able to keep people motivated to continue to design as the thread dates from almoost 2 months ago…

it seems as if you have put a lot of thought in your suggestions. I can appreciate someone that comes here and brings a complete idea. Your ideas have been mostly suggested, as Adera mentioned. So in order to discuss a topic agan, or to bring it back to the attention of the devs, it might be a better idea to bump a topic that has already been discussed before, instead of creating a repetition of the same arguments and ideas.

Some ideas, or better yet, all ideas are something that a big group of people want, and I can only assume the dev-team is looking closely at them. So thanks for your input Fate..

Welcome to the forum Faith,

For now, the only thing you can do, is make a printscreen and past that in either paint or another photo editting program. From there you can cut, paste and edit the screenshot to your own likings. Maybe there will be an option possible in the future, but I think the demand for in in-game photo option is just… too low.

you might have gotten yourself into trouble with posting your challenge. I am sure there are plenty of competative guys that are arrogant enough to think they can.. Examples already here..
I would be lying if I said I have never asked those questions. But it is not my aim to know the answers. Yes, I am curious about the girl on the other end, but in all honesty, the info only does so much for me.

Like Adera en Medjai said, I really get into it as deep as I can when i room or even play an out-of-room rp. And no, not with every meeting I play with myself. Lol, with the time some guys spend on here rooming, they'd be up for the guinness book of records if they kept it up that long. What works for me is the intensity and the intentions of my partner. As much as I make an effort to make her happy, I expect that of her as well..

With some friends I know they don't play with themselves, storing the sexual energy for a  moment where they feel comfortable to let themselves go. Keiko mentioned having a special technique, I am sure many of us have a special way of reaching a climax that is just that little more intense as when seeking release behind the screen.

When I started here, the images were very stimulating. But look at something often enough, and it becomes predictable, less stimulating. The great thing about imagination and the mind is, there are no limits.. While the avatars keeping moving in a programmed fashion, unable to deviate, the mind has access to the cosmos…

So Yellow, enjoy the game the way YOU like it, and let noone tell you how you should like it.

the green orb indicates the average speed that both partners have selected. I am curious how this will work in a 3some. I haven’t had the chance yet to test that out. I am very happy the a-team recognised a good idea and they found the time to implement it this fast.

Which allows me to indicate that, despite a lot of comments that we have to wait for certain things for a long time, the a-team will implement a good idea. Again, bein descriptive, to the point and offer more as a single line to explain your idea, has the biggest chance of succes…

PS slowing down is also my favorite, but…. when passion strikes and lust takes over, I am happy that we can go a little faster too 🙂
